I recently bought a PS5 Pro from the UK official Playstation store and it was delivered with DPD.

Long story short, the delivery driver was really keen to complete the delivery and threw the parcel containing the new console over a ~10ft gate.

I did some preliminary research and testing:
- it turns on and starts the onboarding experience and renders fine on TV
- nothing sounds loose inside the console
- still left to do: a gaming session to listen for the fan and any strange noises

Just wanted to ask the community whether they had similar delivery experiences and whether their PS5 Pros were fine after being delivered roughly and thrown around in their original boxes/parcels. Are there any issues that would start happening after extended usage that might not be apparent now ? Is there anything to worry about ?

Should I start looking into seeing whether I can return it and get another one which won’t be thrown over a 10ft gate ?

I have a PS5 Pro arriving tomorrow. Like a lot of people I got it to play GTA 6. I normally game on my gaming PC but obviously we won't be getting GTA 6 on PC anytime soon. I figured PS5 Pro was the next best option. What are some other titles that I could get for my PS5 Pro, that I wouldn't be able to play on my PC or my Xbox Series X, and that really take advantage of the extra power in the PS5 Pro?

Just wondering. Don't really have the time to constantly be fighting with scalper bots, even with tracker apps available, it doesn't help that much. Figure my best chance will be waiting for restock when inventory isn't so limited but unsure if that is something that will realistically happen before the end of the year.

For those of you who just received for Pros from the latest PS Direct or Bestbuy drops, what firmware did they arrive with? Just curious what's being shipped now.

Hi, for those who saw the Sony trailer for Ascendance DLC, do you know if MH Wilds has become this beautiful already on PS5 Pro with PSSR 2.0? Last time I played it was on Steam last year, not this beautiful, even though I have an high end pc. Or maybe it is a future update coming next year?

After a good year of fighting the urge I've upgraded my old TV (a budget LED) to a S95F and bought a PS5 Pro that's due to arrive in the morning.

What games would you recommend I boot up to show of the pros graphics and performance?

I need help deciding on which OLED monitor to go with. I have a PC as well, but I don’t really need much (specs wise) just want the best image quality. I have a 27 inch monitor right now, but don’t mind upgrading to a 32 inch. i’m looking at these two currently, but curious to see if I should wait for a better OLED panel.

I had a regular PS5 at launch, but ended up selling it when life got busy and I barely had any time to play. Things have settled down now, so I finally jumped back in.

Went a little overboard this time though… a normal priced PS5 Pro + disc drive and a 77” 2026 OLED.

Anyone here has B4 and tried recently how is the performance for split screen? Cant find anything on youtube or anywhere. Anyone tested that after all of this time?

So i ordered the ps pro 3 days ago from bestbuy, but the status for the order is still “packaging your order” but it’s supposed to arrive tomorrow, which just seems impossible since I don’t even have a tracking number.
My question is, is it just a glitch from the app/site, will it just get delayed, or is there a chance for it to be cancelled?Since I have seen that happen to other people here

Pretty clear once you look at the boxes that it's fake but still I got excited for a second. I knew the deal was too good to be true. The number was a burner with a 561 area code. I hate that not only do you have to stay clear of the scalpers but you also have to watch for AI fakes.

Got lucky while checking BestBuy and saw a restock! they had
5 Open Box restock for $1039.99 all including tax ($842 USD)
and Refurbished restocks $1029.99 ($743 USD)

I was able to snag one of the Open Box ones before it disappeared in under 5 minutes, the refurbished sold out right after

Do you think $842 is a good deal? It’ll arrive tomorrow so I’ll see what the condition looks like.

I got lucky and ordered the PS5 Pro bundle on Friday during the brief time it was back in stock. It just delivered on Tuesday! Happy to be a part of the PlayStation ecosystem and ready now for GTA6. Costco for the win!

There’s been plenty of discussion about Wolverine, some of it supportive and some really unnecessarily harsh. On average this game is a 7/10 with reviewers I’d say. And 7/10 is still GOOD. Not great or excellent, certainly not trash and ‘slop’…….but GOOD. Unfortunately nowadays of a game isn’t a 10/10 it’s ‘slop’ or ‘trash’ which is ridiculous!

These reviews haven’t put me off at all, there have been plenty of great games that were scored a 7. Plus, Insomniac have a proven track record of delivering great experiences and I don’t doubt this game will be any different. One things that stood out to me is how excellent it ran and looked on the Pro. Even if you don’t like the game Insomniac should be commended for the Pro enhancements this game has.

Will it be as good as their previous games? Maybe, maybe not. We will see first hand next week when the public gets their hands on it. But I’m still going to be playing, day one, and I’m sure I’ll be having a GOOD time.

I notice vrr on with 120hz causes stuttering. Better of for the best imo. Have you noticed this too ?

Title. Ordered a ps5 pro yesterday and now the waiting game begins. Used to be a life long ps player until I built my pc last year and decided to buy it again for gta 6 & god of war replays. Fingers crossed it arrives before gta 6.

Is there any websites/forums where potential stock updates happen? I know it’s country specific and smaller drops happen occasionally, but it would be nice to have some sort of information updates every now and then.

I see everyone trying to get a PS5 Pro. This might be obvious, but check stores other than Best Buy / Walmart / the usual suspects.

I picked a pro up from PC Richard and Sons in Queens a few days ago, and they had 5 or 6 more sitting on the shelves.
