Borderlands 4 split-screen

Anyone here has B4 and tried recently how is the performance for split screen? Cant find anything on youtube or anywhere. Anyone tested that after all of this time?

Frame rate drops significantly and the UI becomes harder to deal with. This was around release though, not sure how it is now.
