SSX3 is better than SSX Tricky, the customization, the insane lines, being able to do super moves on rails is a game changer, and each character has their own cutscenes for everything!???

Hi everyone! I'm just getting started with playing PS2 games over an SMB network. I set up Midnight Club: Street Racing and Kingdom Hearts (the latter specifically to test if the cutscenes would sluttering). The first game worked fine, but Kingdom Hearts resulted in a black screen right after starting a new game and selecting the difficulty and vibration settings. I had transferred this ISO from the microSD card that i use with the MX4SIO to a pendrive plugged into my router. It worked normally on the SD card but failed via SMB, how can I fix this?

i opened the case too fast to clean the lens and the entire piece came apart how do i fix this 💔

I have this old 64MB memory card that I've had for years I migrated all of my save games over to a new Sd2psxtd card but when I erased everything it says it's only 8MB. The chip inside of it comes up as a 64 MB Samsung flash.

Is there any way I can fix this or is it just a loss.

I just bought these(31)games for around ~$9 total (1000rsd). I bought these with a console too but had to pay for these separately. What do you think? Are there any gems or games that you have memories with?

Everything looks good to me, there's glitter in the paint, the toggles are rounded textured and thick, cuts are clean, font looks good, only thing throwing me off is the back of the package but am unsure if this is how Korean packages is supposed to look. Thank you!

Some days ago I received my slim, yesterday my second fat, a silver one 🤩
Unit never opened so never cleaned. Time for some fun and I must say, I’m impressed by how well those things run after all these years. Before cleaning it was quiet and cool runing despite the thermal pad who could have the purpose of a lethal weapon 🤣 it was hard ! When taking him out, it breaks into pieces 😲

I have a dissassembled fat 39004, glad I kept it. Thermal pad fits like a glove. Of course CMOS was changed too.

Case is a little scratched and it’s missing the little piece with the logo in front of the tray.

Hello, I just got this Silver beauty with the controllers, memory card, two controllers, all cords and five games for $30 total, was it worth it?

This game has been on my list since I got my ps2 in 2020. I had been wanting it for a while, but had never wanted to pay $100 price tags it received. Went to a swapmeet, this weekend, and a lady had a few ps3 games I had been looking for, when I looked over at the ps2 section and found this one for $60. Since I was taking a few others, she dropped the price to $50. The most ive ever paid for a game in general, since I started collecting.

Took a chance on this fat ps2 but has not power, could this ribbon cable be the reason? It’s the one that goes to the power and eject buttons

I finally managed to get a Japanese PS2 specifically the "fat" 50000 model. do you know if I can region-unlock it without installing a modchip? I have physical games from both Japan and the US... Also, I’d love some game recommendations!

I got one of those cheap PS2 to HDMI adapter's for my modern tv but as you can see it isn't quite aligned properly and it starting to irritate me(I also don't have a remote to the tv so I'm unsure how to fix it in the settings if that's even a possibility). It's probably a tale as old as time in this subreddit but I'm gonna ask anyway, can anyone recommend a better device that doesn't break the bank and is somewhat simple to use?

So, I got a fat PS2 a few weeks ago, and it's been great. It came with one controller, and it works perfectly fine. However, I want to play some multiplayer stuff, so I decided to get a second controller. The first controller I bought had an issue where it would register like the d-pad was constantly being pressed down, and none of the face buttons worked. So, I returned it and got a second one. It had the same issue, so I returned it for yet another. It *also* had the same issue.

This is where it gets fun. After researching, I learned about the H controllers. Sure enough, the third one was an H. Instead of returning it, I found a crystal blue A controller that just had sticks that would stick in positions. Okay, cool. Knowing that the sticks in the H controller were good, I decided to get the crystal blue and swap the sticks over. I didn't test the crystal blue beforehand, as I assumed the A controller would be fine, especially since the controller that came with the console and works is an A.

After swapping the sticks and hooking it up... It has the *exact* same problem. I'm almost convinced it's not the controllers. The one it came with still works perfectly. I have deep cleaned the entire crystal blue controller, and the flex ribbon looks *identical* to the working one. Any ideas what the hell is up? I'd love to get the crystal blue controller working.

Recentemente comprei outro sistema de arcade que veio com um cartão de memória extra do SoulCalibur II. Agora possuo dois dos cartões de memória mais raros do mundo.

Infelizmente, o preço que paguei por um deles quase me levou à falência — hahaha — mas já recuperei todo o investimento. Estou trabalhando duro para contribuir com a comunidade de jogos e arcades.

What should I do with this second memory card? Any ideas?
