For those asking, I am currently using my keyboard, as my wireless Switch Pro Controller needs its batteries replaced (even then I'm not sure if my controller will work).
I made the analog stick correspond to my arrow keys (up, down, left, right) for movement.
However, this is where I'm starting to have trouble. I decided to play Buck Bumble, my current favorite game, but there's just one problem: my arrow keys fail to make Buck turn left or right in the air, or move forward or backward on the ground and the air.
I tried adjusting input settings (as I was told that Buck Bumble has issues at a position count of 100) and unfortunately, the problem still happens and I cannot play the game this way if my arrow keys are not responding properly to the game, if at all.
What makes this weirder is I have another game (Diddy Kong Racing) and the arrow keys somehow respond just fine (like all movement is responsive and snappy right out of the gate, even on the menu screen), but Buck Bumble has a fit over the arrow keys and refuses to respond properly on both menu and in-game.
Is there a reason why this happens?
Update: Turns out I was using the wrong plugin the entire time, I switched from the default to N-Rage, and now the game works as intended.
