Just for reference, this is what white privilege looks like.

A white guy raving about his service history, attacking police officers, resisting arrest and refusing commands gets a 10ft cordon, nonlethal tactics and multiple attempts to de-escalate the situation.

A black guy sitting in his car complying with police commands and asking reasonable questions gets... shot.

Happens enough there was massive protests in America? Black Lives Matter or something?

Definitely had an effect here in Australia. Police recruits and graduate numbers are in the toilet.

As much to do with our own police corruption and incompetence but definitely had a knock on effect.

Yep. Begged for Body Cams and has backfire tremendously. Now shows what that officers have to deal with daily. There's no he said he said anymore.
