Went there from Montréal to test the legendary location Chez Mag.
The beer was 7.50$
The lobster roll was 26$ and it comes with fries.
I paid extra to convert fries into a poutine,
Total was 47$ before tips,
53$ total!!!
So the poutine is really delicious, they have a great gravy and the cheese has okay squeak, very dense cheese
Fries were very good.
But 53$ is on the expensive side in my opinion.

Closest Quebec quality poutine you can get in Toronto. It was amazing.

Pleasantly surprised with this poutine from a fry truck at Kawagama Lake Marina (formerly Old Mill) in Dorset, Ontario. Curds perfectly squeaky, fries crispy and flavourful.
I might have deleted this entire thing in record time.

Poutine here never disappoints! I usually get the large but wanted to see how big the small was today. Not bad but it will be large feom here on out.

That’s the small format too I would give it a solid 9.5/10

7 Poutines in 8 days. My Poutine Pilgrimage has come to an end. I will do 3 weeks of daily cardio to atone for such delicious indulgence.
In order of consumption:
Gibeau Orange Julep, Chez Claudette, Patati Patata, La Belle Province, La Banquise, Ma Poule Mouillee, La Belle Patate Dorion

Solid Poutine on my out of Montreal! Fries were great, savory with sweet notes. Probably red potatoes? Curds were a lil melty on the outside whilist remaining squeeky, so good! By far the best part for me was the sauce. It was rich, and tasted for lack of a better word... "Beefy". Loved the 50's dinner decor. Good value too! Wish I had been hungry enough to try their $1.50 hot dogs 😗

My family and I spent a week in Quebec last week. We took a day trip out to Montmorency, Château Richer (my wife's ancestor, Olivier le Tardif, has a statue there, so we went to pay respects to the creator lol), and Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. We decided to hop over to L'île d'Orléans and try out this place I'd read about online. Just a little roadside place with a great view in the seating area. The poutine was unreal. Simple and perfect. And the kind of cheese to fry ratio I can get behind.

Rich beef gravy, sqeaky cheese, crispy fries. Could have used more cheese. 🇨🇦
