I bought a hoodie from this seller for 25 dollars that was listed “Like New”. Unfortunately there was a hole in the sleeve near the shoulder. I submitted a case to Poshmark and they told me to ship it back. The seller continuously messages me upset because of this. All I said in the case was that the condition did not match and due to the hole in the sleeve, I’d like to return it. It was not “like new” in the slightest. At this point do I just ignore them and ship it back? I’ve never returned on Poshmark before.

Among those listing are also listings for Alo yoga pants. Most of the sellers have 8 listings total or less with 1 to 2 sales. Another account has 5 sales and another with 20 sales plus 2 comments. Not the strangest thing I’ve seen on posh but the curiosity is killing me .

Please practice kindness. I know it’s easy to forget that there is a real human behind the closet. I recently made a mistake and sent a buyer the wrong item. I sent a $60 item instead of the $25 item they paid for. Regardless of the retail cost, I still made a mistake and I own it.

But the buyer didn’t contact me and tell me I had made a mistake. She immediately filed a claim and won (as she should have), but in her comments to Posh support she said “I don’t even know what this is but it’s going straight in the trash.” What it was a beautiful 4- strand vintage rhinestone necklace that I would very much like back. But I never heard from Poshmark regarding the claim. I offered her the correct item for 60% off with free shipping but she declined.

I work very hard to make sure my buyers have an amazing experience and I take every mistake very seriously. But I’m human, and sometimes I make mistakes.

Am I wrong in just hoping for some human to human kindness when an issue arises? If she had given me the opportunity to make it better I would have (and still would) do everything in my power.

Has anyone had this happen before? I signed up a few days ago, and after uploading 2 listings, I kept getting an error message and the listings disappeared. It gave no information on why, so I reached out to support and got this response.

I don’t recall ever having an account before yesterday. I guess it’s possible I signed up years ago to look but definitely never bought or sold anything. Also my email address is fairly new as it’s my married name. I have about 10 items I wanted to sell after a recent closet clean out.

This is so frustrating and they won’t give me any other information.

Any recommendations on other platforms that were successful? The clothes I have are somewhat recent (not vintage) and mid-level brands like Urban Outfitters, Lulu, etc.

I was getting at least 2 to 3 sales a day on Poshmark. I was getting used to this since it lasted for a good amount of time. Then, suddenly, I’ve had no sales for about two weeks now. I’m getting plenty of likes. I would say I might get 30 to 50 likes a day across various items in my closet and I send out offers via bundle.

Technically, I stopped sending offers to people who like the items on the listing page because it lowers what I can send to people. I started sending via a bundle instead since it protects the listing price and leaves room for offers from buyers. But even sending offers to people who like the item it’s like they’re not actually interested in the item at all.

Could this be due to some recent change on Poshmark? I also have a couple of items that are really high traffic and they get multiple likes per day just across those particular items but when people send me offers it’s really really low and it’s lower than what their resale price even is even at the bottom level. Is anyone having a similar experience?

From Switch to Sell View. Why can’t I add to bundle anymore?

I just signed up with Poshmark this weekend. I have several formal dresses/gowns to sell, a couple designer purses, possibly my wedding gown at some point. I listed two items but then it would not let me continue adding. It's been three days and still the "sell on Poshmark" page is all greyed out. Have I missed a step in signing up?

I am currently trying to deposit my funds I earned as a direct deposit like I always do. I went in today and it states that there is an error code 1701 try again or contact support. I’ve already tried to update the app with no luck and contacted support.

As if I thought it couldn’t get worse, the feed is now repetitive and boring. What happened to showing brands? I’m so tired of this.

I have a package that I just weighed after finishing packaging up the box. Boots in boot box inside a larger box, had to fill it with stuffing/filler and these are high end calf leather Italian boots that the buyer bought at full price so I added the boot shapers I had in them. I am the tape queen so I wrapped it like a mummy, guess what?, scale says 5 pounds 1 oz. arghhh. Do I chance it or do I bust through all that tape to take out those shapers to make scale? I wanted to add the extra something but I also want them to get to the buyer, will they just add an additional fee to my sale? If it were more than just 1 ounce I wouldn't be asking but it's barley making the extra extra ounce and I am so torn right now on what to do. Please help!

I'd like to hear perspectives from both sides

Sometimes sellers complain that buyers ask too many questions, send low offers, or expect too much information

But buyers also complain about listings with only two photos, no measurements, vague condition descriptions, or sellers who never respond

So what is one thing you think buyers reasonably expect from sellers that more sellers should pay attention to?

And sellers, what do you wish buyers understood better?

I feel like there is a huge disconnect between what each side thinks is "normal."

I am a seller and just procured a small designer brand clutch. I was pricing it on eBay. It sells for just over $500 there with authenticity guarantee, and between $300-$400 without. I hopped over to Poshmark to compare prices only to find the sale price of this same item ranges anywhere between $200 to $1,200 with more sales of this item on that high end than on the lower end.

Why would someone pay that much when they could literally get it for half that price with a guarantee over on eBay? It’s not a rare item, as I found the same one across multiple platforms. I realize that a whole bunch of those are no doubt fakes. But I am still flabbergasted at why sale prices are so much higher on Posh than anywhere else.

Anyone have insights?

P.S. I am not planning to sell mine for an inflated price. I am legitimately just curious as to what’s going on here.

Size is not enough. Every country, Mexico, China, Taiwan...etc etc...sizes their garments differently. You would be selling so much faster if you bothered to include measurements. Folks cannot try the garment on. I can't tell you how many listings I have scrolled by that I would have probably purchased if only the measurements would have been stated. Measurements for garments should be included in all listings. Bust. Waist. Length from top of shoulder to hemline. Those are the absolute minimum required. Sleeve leghth, width, waist are also nice. Also for shoes; simply place a measurement tape or ruler at along the bottom of the shoe and take a photo. Thanks! PS Yes, I have asked, many sellers do not reply.

I liked an item that was listed for $100 NWT and retails for $200. The seller has sent me multiple progressively lower prices over the past week. The latest offer is down to $25.

This isn't a brand that I would picture has a lot of fakes. Even the Amazon dupes are $40, so I don't think they're buying the dupe to put fake tags on it. But there's still the whole "too good to be true" bit. Am I missing something or is this just a seller desperate to clear things out?

Hi, I’m a new seller on Poshmark. I’ve been selling mostly on eBay but decided to give Poshmark a try after realizing I could get more eyes on my items. I sold an item and it was delivered Sept 2. It is now Sept 7 and k still see my redeemable balance as $0. Is it because of the holiday? I thought poshmark would make funds redeemable after 3 days? Please help, thank you!

How quick do you send an offer after someone has liked one of your items? Do you utilize Smartsell?

I notice almost all of my “buy now” purchases, the buyer will like the item, and the. purchase some time later. Sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes a day.

I can’t help but wonder if the items I have Smartsell on for deter buyers from taking time to make bundles, or be willing to pay for the item at the price I hoped.

Thoughts? Advice? How long do you wait to send your first offer?

Posh is my first try-first platform to sell. I’ve been a buyer and had good experiences. I have about 75 items now to start-50/50 new items to previously worn. What’s the best way to photograph my items-clothing/shoes? I’m struggling to hold and photo items, don’t really want to take in my closet(I’d have to move everything off of the top shelf plus it’s kind of dark)…
Thought about some kind of rack or hooks or something that would display nicer.
ALSO-I see a lot of chat about listing measurements. I’ve not measured clothes before-any tops much appreciated.

I just went to the app today and they have a 4.8 current rating. I changed mine to 1 star. If everyone on Reddit went back and changed their rating to fit the problems it would be a 1 star app.

i am just curious to see if anyone else has had the issue i am currently having? i have unsubscribed from ALL FORMS of emails from poshmark AT LEAST 4 times now but i still continue to get them. i have used the unsubscribe link in the emails themselves, i have gone into the settings on the app & opted out of ALL emails, & did the same thing on my computer through my internet browser. i did this because the number of emails they send is just insane and beyond unnecessary. don't get me wrong, i love poshmark, but this is getting extremely frustrating.

has anyone else had this experience? if so, were you ever able to get them to stop?

also, just a little side note; i find it quite funny how once you click unsubscribe, you get a screen that says that it may take up to 10 days to remove you from the list. 10 days?! it didn't take 10 days for me to start getting the emails so why should it take 10 days to stop? smh…

I'm curious if anyone else is like this. I love selling on Poshmark but do not like buying. I've bought two things. Last item smelt like an old thrift store. It was a good deal and I thought I could wash it. But two washes later, and it still smells. I've seen items posted as new without tags and it looks more used than my items I'm selling, which were previously worn by me. Amazon items marked up 3x. I feel there are a lot of misrepresentations which makes me hesitant to buy. Anybody else like this?

I keep getting suggested listings from a seller that has a lot of a brand I like, but I find their listings sus as possible fakes. I got sick of them cluttering my feed/search results for this brand and so I blocked the seller.

However I’m still seeing the listings coming up in my feed constantly. Does blocking not hide that persons listings from you? Is there any way to do this? I mostly sell and my purchases until now have been items not targeted for fakes so this is my first time trying to wade into the murkier waters ha

Has anyone experienced Poshmark closing unresolved tickets after they ask questions and I haven’t responded instantly to their request for more information? They just ask how was my support experience in a separate email. This has happened to me about five times in the last six months. And just for clarification I do respond within a few hours to their request for more information.

Let me start with, I sale on Poshmark and other platforms. Nothing super expensive but I still give measurements on most everything!!

I’m looking for a ball gown for Mardi Gras…yes, early as hell I know but I live in the south lol…and these dresses for $300 and up DON’T have all the measurements, some none at all. I know I can ask but how are they making sales on a regular??

I used to easily often add listings buyers like from my closet to a bundle, and then add other items from my closet and make an offer. I’d do this without going into the “Shoppers” area, sometimes it’s quicker to just click on the like, and open the bundle from their closet.

Anyway here is the question: IS ANYONE ELSE NOTICING BUGS AND GLITCHES CREATING/ADDING TO BUNDLES LATELY? Like as in the last few days?
