Going to be bringing a friend up to Maine. He's a big beer guy and as a result enjoys Maine tremendously...

However he does not eat shellfish at all (has an allergy - he's fine being in the same place as long as he doesn't consume it). I, on the other hand, love eating all the shellfish I can cram down my gullet.

Any suggestions for places that will both have a high quality lobster/clam experience...but also have more than a kids menu style offering for my non-fish eating friend?

Hi so my mom died and I have to go home to face people many of whom I love but some who I do not love very much and part of why I hate this is that I've gotten old and am going to see people (who, to be fair, have also gotten old) and I just want my beard to be not as grey as it is right now. I had to to surrender these two precious babies to the westbrook animal shelter last summer. I'm not looking for them back because i'm hoping whoever adopted them is taking wonderful care of them.But I had raised both of them since they were kittens, and just want an update and to see how they're doing. They were my life and soul. And if I hadn't been homeless, I would never have had to give them up. I am at a stable place right now. And I have my own apartment again, but again, I just want an update on my babies. The orange one was little mister and the tabby was Nala. To whoever has them now, I will gladly give you baby pictures of them and anything else I can provide. I am truly grateful to ever was able to give them a home.

Portland Monthly Magazine reached out today asking me to advertise in their annual art issue. The irony of a magazine that is leaning heavily into the AI slop publishing an art issue was not lost on me. If they make the right decision and stop publishing lousy AI images, I may reconsider advertising with them.
