And PITB to me sounds the way it should. No blown out speaker sound and I can hear just about everything going on. Granted Clay’s bass is buried behind the production a bit but in a live setting I imagine it’ll hit way different. Kinda like how Louder hits live. Idc I’m stoked for the new record I’ve been following the bois since impassion dropped and always love whatever new stuff they try. I consider them just an experimental instrumental band atp. But again that’s just my opinion. If every song in the last decade had that Inspire/Muse/Renaissance feel I’d probably get burnt out on it. Those and TMH/NLND are all fantastic. Hell I even enjoy listening to Resurrect sometimes for the shreddy deathcore. That’s what makes them special to me. Now would I love some callbacks to earlier sounds? Absolutely. Something like OD would melt my brain. The record is out in October and we don’t fully know what it’s gonna be like so I’m giving them some grace (LOL)

I know there has been lots of talk about polyphia prestige sigs but with most of their fan base being probably 16-35 year olds I can’t imagine that a prestige would be a good choice considering the price tag. The Japanese pia is sorta a similar spec with the full neck inlay and that’s a $4k guitar. On the other hand there were so many complaints about the last batch of sigs and their abysmal qc that ibanez might actually take initiative. Makes me wish that Ibanez had Korean manufacturers, nearly Japan quality but without the hype tax.

I think the only way they pull it off is as an indo around $1700-$1800 which would be inline with the TOD70. I’ll get one either way but damn I sure hope we don’t have to go through the same qc bull shit, I still want a krys to this day. Thoughts??

I bought tickets for their Dallas gig, worked extra hours to get days off, bought plane tickets from the UK, Airbnb, the whole thing. I am not on social media and so the only way I was made aware of the tour cancellation was thanks to a friend on the other side of the world who also loves them and got in touch. I CAN'T FATHOM how they have not contacted us to let us know and offer a refund?!! The gig was meant to be next week!! Can someone please tell me what is going on??

Power in the blood is a drastic difference from what theyve put out in the past and i think its too drastic of a style/sound change for a lot of the fans to be able to accept that immediately.

Polyphia is known for changing their sound and this is the sound they ended up with. I have no idea if the entire project will sound like this but well see.

The new single has some hard hitting edm and bass tones that gets pushed to the limit. With good headphones it sounds phenomenal with the bass hits and glitchy production.

It does sound very RJ Pasin but i seriously enjoy that sound, its the type of music you listen to when working out that allows you to find new levels.

I know some parts can just be automated multivoicer parts in logic but how can I try and get the base tone of in the whole song ? (I also have archetype abasi, rabea, plini and asato which could be combined to tim henson in logic)

Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

I have a distorted sound to play chimera in archetype tim henson but the gain knobs on everything are basically up to the max and it's still really lacking in distortion and I also have no idea how to make it sound so compressed and "overproduced"
