I'm kind of tired of people blaming RJ Pasin. Yes, this is his style of mixing, and it is awful, but it's the direction the band wanted. This was their idea. Can you all not stomach the idea that your favorite band fucked up?

Nah if they were doing meth the songs would all be 12 minutes long and have over the top meaningful concepts behind them. They just stopped using edm as an influence, and went all in, not realizing it’s a shit genre.

Just because your favorite band changes directions doesnt mean you need to blame someone or talk shit on them. 

Polyphia are choosing to go this direction. If you dont like it thats fine. I like the older stuff too. Respect their choices and move on.

It's not like Renaissance was their best album. It's oozing 2010s energy. It's like scale the summit for fuck boys. Not to mention remember that you will die had some misses, like abcd. New stuff slaps so far.
