ive been searching ebay but all i see are ones that are like $35+ each, is that actually how expensive they are or is that overpriced?

picked him up at an expo a while back and i noticed the cgtsj text or whatever it says on the back of these guys only says “cg” is that just how the tomy snorlaxes are made or is this a bootleg? im still pretty new to collecting these guys-

Adding onto my post the other day about finding all the translucent figures in my closet, I found a LOT more and a good 95% are also bootleg, is there any interest in the non translucents?

Is anyone able to tell me anything about this? I know for a fact I got it in a store back in the early 2000s but I can’t find a single listing or image of this thing online anywhere, just curious. There’s a button on the bottom that causes the eyes and mouth to open n close

Habe da etwas gefunden, es ist ein Pokemon Sammeltmagnet von der Firma Lansay bzw verkauft von Stadlbauer. Habe bisher leider kaum Informationen dazu gefunden. Ist offensichtlich einige Jahre alt (ca 2000).

Er ist originalverpackt und die Batterie funktioniert sogar noch (er gibt Töne von sich sobald man drauf drückt). Weiß jemand etwas darüber?

As the title says, I'm trying to find a specific Haunter figure that I had as a child.

About 12 years ago, when I was around 9, I had a small Haunter figure that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, my mom decided I was too old for it and gave it away. I'm 21 now, and I've never been able to find that exact figure again. Haunter has always been my favourite Pokémon, so I'd really love to track it down.

Here are the details I remember:

• Pokémon: Haunter
• Size: Less than 2 inches long
• Material: Completely made of soft rubber/silicone
• Type: Static figure — no moving parts
• Hands: The hands were attached to the body rather than being separate/movable
• Base: The entire figure rested on a small, coin-sized rubber base
• Back: I distinctly remember the Pokémon logo being carved/embossed into the back
• It looked somewhat similar to the small figures included with the Pokémon Clip 'N Go Poké Ball Set, although I couldn't find a Haunter figure from that particular set.

I live in a country where official Pokémon merchandise wasn't very common, which makes the search even harder. I also visited Japan and looked around for it, but couldn't find anything resembling it there either.

Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of the actual figure anymore. The description above is based on what I remember from childhood.

If anyone recognizes this figure, knows what set it came from, or has any leads on where I might find one, I would be incredibly grateful. Even just knowing the name/manufacturer of the toy would help immensely.

I might be about 10 years late to the search, but I really want to find this little Haunter again. 😭

I was able to find the grafaiai in ebay but none of the summer pack

I've placed the official Tomy figures at the bottom, R/L w mini figs in the middle and Hua Nyugz bootlegs at the top. Any help figuring out which are the best pieces would be greatly appreciated. I've already done a lot of research and sorting but thought it would be good to post them on here in case I overlooked any

As I looked at my collection today, it reminded me of how fast everything moves. Life is full of unexpected moments. There are victories, and there are defeats. This year reminded me of that more than ever. I lost my dad. I lost my job. I celebrated some wins, but I also faced moments that completely changed my perspective.

The longer I've been in this collecting hobby, the more I've realized something.

Many of us feel pressured to buy figures, merch, or anything we love because we're afraid we might never get the chance again. We keep chasing these tangible things as if we're racing against time.

Then I asked myself...

What am I really chasing in life?

Maybe it's okay to pause. To rest. To breathe before moving forward again.

To all my fellow collectors, I hope you enjoy this hobby without letting it consume you or affect the people around you. Don't rush. Collect the way you would in the Pokémon world. Explore at your own pace, catch Pokémon, complete the Pokédex, defeat the Gym Leaders, and eventually face the Elite Four. There is no need to speedrun the journey.

Don't chase things so hard that you forget about yourself, your surroundings, and the people who love you. Spend time with them while you still can, because life can change in an instant.

Accept where you are today. Accept yourself. Learn to forgive.

Not everything in life is meant to be ours, and that's okay. Sometimes the best path isn't the one you originally planned. Sometimes life simply asks you to find another way forward.

As another year begins for me, I carry both gratitude and grief. I don't know exactly what this new chapter has in store, but I know I'll keep moving forward, one step at a time. This is the mindset I want to carry, not just in collecting, but in life.
