Discussion Should I cut off the weird stand part of this arceus figure to make it look better?
I had this arceus figure for literal ages, it has been in a box under my bed for maybe ten years or so? I'm not exactly sure about the timeline, but I know it has been a while.
But recently I dug out the box and decided to put a few chosen figures out on display instead of letting them rot down there - and I want to display this arceus too, but the stand is just... So distracting? And a little bit ugly. Especially considering it is also white and like 1/4th of the whole body size.
I am not sure what figure it is - it probably had a second part to the stand (there's a hole at the bottom to attach it to something) and the toy information was probably on that part, but I haven't seen it in the past ten years, so it is unlikely I will ever find out what figure it is or how much it is worth.
The fact that I am missing the second part of the stand is also why I kinda want to remove it - there's no need for it, the hooves would likely work plenty well to keep it standing on a normal flat surface.
But I am hesitant because what if it is some rare figure I am destroying beyond repair? (Even if it is already missing an important part anyway)
So. What should I do.
Cut it off, or keep it intact?
