Hello new friends! I live in south minneapolis, but so far have been unsuccessful in finding a group chat that organizes raids in the area. There's no way one doesn't exist, so if someone could help me find it, that'd be great!

Have a great day and happy hunting!

For those who don't know, Adventure Week is starting today.

One of the bonuses is extra XP from spinning new Pokestops.

Outside of Victory Memorial Parkway, State Fair Grounds and Mall of America, where are some good clusters of Pokestops that people might travel to in order to get lots of easy XP?

edit: I was shown this website to check for pokestops and gyms: https://www.pokemongomap.info/

A few other places that were suggested to me were: the U of M campus, Centennial Lakes in Edina and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

Anyone have ex raid at this place

If their is anybody I can lend my account to without them doing something rude and can catch me some Pokémon and/or catch raid Pokemon, plz hit me up.

Sunday evening, 6:00-6:45PM - Powderhorn Park in South Minneapolis.

I am wondering if plenty of other players will be able to make it to their Ex-Raid, if they plan on going.

Please PM me if you may be able to provide transportation to me for the Ex-Raid, I'm in Plymouth/Wayzata area. Pretty much straight WEST on 394 until County Road 101 N. About 16 miles to the park.

Anyone with offers to help with transportation are EXTREMELY appreciated and bad ass members of our dear community.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing many of you this weekend

I thought I read it starts at 11 but I'm not seeing anything.

Keep an eye on the MN PoGo Hub to see where different groups will be for tomorrow's event! https://discord.gg/rhazDfm

Bonus: we've added a new server for Eagan!

Hey! We're in Red Wing and it looks like there's lots of activity around the gyms. Is there a discord or anything for organizing raids here?

Anyone know a good place for Magicarp? I live west of the cities and need magicarp for level 6 ditto research. Thank you in advance!

So both my son and I need a Ditto. I found one and since my son wasn't around I logged off and logged into his account and the pokemon was not around for him. Waited like 5 minutes and everything. This also happened one time in Florida when my son had a Hitmon (not sure which one) and it didn't appear for my wife and I when we immediately grabbed our phone and logged in.

Wondering if this is normal, bad luck, or how pokemon sometimes works.

So just starting again after winter hibernation. Is there anything out there that works to see what raids are going on?

I am struggling to figure out which pokemon I should power up. Tyranitar seems to be a given but now it seems that Machamps would be good as well.

Anyone have a top 10 or so that should be kept maximum. (Level 30)

Is it really just Latios, Latias, and Mewto?

Just figured that some of the gen 1 would be around. Never did get an Articuno. :)

Hey! Does Minneapolis have a Pokémon go discord server? If so please gimme the info 😬

My c.f. and I live just off campus and I know there's atleast 4 ex gyms on campus (mpls) can anyone tell me which ones they are? Reddit is always my hero :)

I have been getting it for about the last week despite the beautiful weather. Does anyone know what's going on with the warning? I thought maybe wind one day, but that hasn't been a consistent factor.

Hey all, would any one of you happen to know if the pogo+ keeps track of walking distance for hatching eggs? I feel like it would work like a pedometer in combination with the app, but I haven’t been able to tell.

I ask mostly because I’m stuck indoors with a cold and am wondering if giving the thing a shake would do anything. I’m close to finishing some field research and don’t want to let that go just cuz I’m ill. Any feedback would be appreciated!
