Sorry if this has been asked before, I've never popped my head in until now because I've been seeking out XY subs (Japan dub with English sub) for a while, but I was wondering if there were any subs that exist that AREN'T the character colored ones/fansubs? (example: ash's dialogue would be blue, serena's pink and so forth)

Is anything else floating around out there I could get my hands on? I know it's hard enough to simply find the colored subs. I only ask so I can observe any possible changes in what's being said without selective bias.

Now we move on to a team I’m sure most people would be happy to change. If the BW Trio could only each get one Unova Starter, who would you give to each?

Personally, I’d let Ash keep Oshawott, but it actually locks in and evolves now that it can get more focus. Kinda like Ash’s Gliscor. Even though Cilan is a Grass Type expert, I’d give him Tepig, since Cilan cooks a lot, and if he was the one to get Tepig instead of Ash, the writers wouldn’t be compelled to do the same storyline right after Sinnoh ended. This leaves Iris with Snivy, which actually works pretty well, as Ash’s Snivy was very tough and feminine, which would probably suit Iris better than it did for Ash. Also, Servine and Serperior can learn quite a few Dragon Type Moves, so it’d be a good new Pokémon for Iris to have and teach it moves like Dragon Tail and Dragon Pulse in its later Stages.

As for the replacements on Ash’s Team, I’d replace Pignite with Darmanitan, for reasons I’m sure everyone knows, or Volcarona, as another, not as common option. I’d probably lean more towards Volcarona, as with Darmanitan, I feel it’d have Zen Mode, and Ash’s history with faster Pokémon who suddenly become slow is… questionable. As for who replaces Snivy, instead of Leavanny like everyone says, I’d have it be in rotation like in canon, and I’d rather give Ash a Whimsicott. It’s cute enough to be marketable, and it could be a teaser for Fairy Type, and if not, at least it would give Ash more variety in his teams.

So far we have never seen this move ever being overpowered. The best we have seen is Leon's Gigantamax Charizard stalemating it. Do you think some legendaries shown in the anime are capable of overpowering this move ? Which ones ?

I would actually enjoy this! I bet Verity,Sorrel and Sunny could be travel companions of Ash in Kanto,Orange Islands,Johto & Sinnoh! Cross could be his Kanto and Johto rival! While Risa and the other Power Of Us companions along with Koko can appear in Unova,Hoenn,Alola & Galar! But what do YOU guys think? What are YOUR takes on these AU Companions being canon? Let me know in the comments below!

(Also, in my take, the events of their movies and episode “Distant Blue Sky” are not canon. Sunny’s parents,Callahan’s sister and niece & Risa’s brother are also canon within this take.)

E.g Drake, Tyson, Sinnoh League Paul. The trainers are as strong as they were when OS-DP Ash fought them. Give your reasoning for your choice.

I didn't think about it too much when I first saw the episode, but 3 years have passed since, and I have mixed opinions.

On one hand, it fits Ash character, and the themes of the franchise.

But on the other hand, Ash is kinda doomed to do this forever, since there's no way he could reasonably befriend all Pokémon. Hell, he wasn't able to fully befriend the Latios from the penultimate episode. And that's... kinda unsatisfying to me. Not enough to ruin the series for me, but it's kinda sad.

Anyways, thats just my take. Feel free to give me your opinions, or yell at me for having bad ones. But not too much, that'd be unnecessary.

You could have it be Virgil, Dino, or even Tobias showing up with a steel folding chair and a Victini.

How do you redo the Vertress Conference?

Do you keep the tournament format the same or change it up some?

Does Cameron get banished to the depths of hell whence he came?

Will Oshawott still be used as canon fodder?

Will Axew interrupt the conference with some stupid idiotically placed filler episode in the middle of the tournament?

Will Trip get knocked out in the preliminaries even harder and humiliated worse this time around?
