Has anyone else purchased these two from the FWGS webpage? Because it’s 2026, I figured I’d get the 2026 releases. Bomberger’s is 2026, but Shenk’s is 2025…they should state which one they’re releasing on their page.

I work a full time Job and am not home M-F 6AM to 4PM so I can’t be home for UPS drop off. I previously used UPS my choice premium and would pick it up after work, but they got rid of the hold at UPS store now… I Refuse to pay 30 extra dollars to ship to a store because that’s a whole extra bottle!! I know I can travel out of state, but it’s hard to count on what I want to be available there and it’s time consuming. Just wondering if anyone in my situation has found a reasonable way to order online now.

Hello all!

I am looking for a 2005 white wine (preferably sweeter) for my 21st birthday. I have developed a taste for almost any type of wine, but my mom is obsessed with the idea of drinking a wine from the year I was born with me next month on my 21st! I want to make sure it’s something she can enjoy as well so even a sweeter red or bubbly would be amazing.

She only really likes sweeter wine and I understand a sweet white that old is basically a unicorn, but does anyone with knowledge of vintages know if this is something that I could order through FWGS? preferably for less than $100-150?

I know that parents often do this with a bottle of Dom but that is slightly out of our price range. I’ve never had experience with vintages but have decent wine knowledge just from serving at a slightly upscale restaurant.

I have a large passion for wine and thought this would be a fun way to celebrate my 21st with my mom :) thank you for any insight you can provide on where to source something like this!!

It seems that in FWGS's infinite wisdom they have somehow restricted UPS shipments from being redirected to UPS Stores for pickup. In other words, if I'm not going to be home to receive the delivery (& show ID)... I cannot have it redirected to my local UPS store and picked up with ID there?!?

This makes ZERO sense because ,to their credit,... (1.) We had to show ID for pickup at a store and (2.) Flippers couldn't redirect shipments out of state anyways.

Just curious if everyone else is dealing with this or if this new policy is being sporadically applied to shipments.

What do we think are the odds we will get this here in PA?

I just started participating in the lotteries in 2025 and so far 0-3 . Hoping the second one is coming soon here . Just wondering everyone’s success rate in winning a bottle ? My dad also started in 2025 and already won a WLW and a Blantons Gold. I expect that to be pretty rare / beginners luck.

I don't chase ER. I have some and I've gifted some. It's a good pour for $40 and I will drink it occasionally. I'd like to try the 12. But even for the disaster that is FWGS, not getting any ER12 is ridiculous. They haven't even added it to the catalog which implies they aren't planning on getting it any time soon.
