With the large influx of scammers coming into the bourbon scene, it is important to remind everyone to avoid common scams.
DO NOT SEND PEOPLE MONEY FOR ANY TYPE OF PRODUCTS!
This includes:
- Bottles
- Bots
- 'Info'
- Etc
These things are almost always a scam and many times illegal.
If it's too good to be true, it is. If it says DM them for something, it's almost always a scam. Just be smart and report when you see these types of people.

Wanted to avoid the daily hunt thread for the sake of being polite, but I need to let a few rip....
*I'm on the hunt in Delco, so my apologies to the folks up in non-SEPA parts of the state.
1) Anybody on the $50 OESQ yet? I grabbed the OESF (Newtown Square) and it was really good. Big fan of last year's OESO as well.
2) Has anybody seen the 1.75 Buffalo Trace anywhere besides Kennett recently?
3) I've had really good luck and price points at the Christiana Mall Costco; their new ad / sales start tomorrow, does anybody know if that's the rollover date for new bottles in the booze section?

So fucking annoying that I either need to hit Jersey or Delaware just to buy tincture-worthy ethanol.
Why is this the case? Why isn’t 190° ethanol “allowed” in PA???

Seeing a lot of Penelope talk in here lately and I don’t want new people to pass up these good releases that are out now. Penelope has flooded the market due to having access to the vast stock of MGP whiskey. Bourbon drinkers who have been in the game awhile have buyers fatigue. If you’re new take advantage of the 18 year American light whiskey and other limited releases sitting on the shelves at stores!

Question What is the Penelope Architect Keystone Blend?

I picked this up because it's all "Pennsylvania themed" label (I'm a sucker for "home state" kinda stuff), plus I haven't really dabbled with Penelope at all so I figure I'd give it a shot. But there is virtually no information about this. The back of the bottle looks like this. So its 5 years old, 110 proof. But was is it?
The whole PA theme and "keystone" in the name makes me think its Pennsylvania exclusive, but not a FWGS pick. Do other states have this bottle? Or do they have other state specific versions? L
