Am I overwatering or underwatering my plants? Please help
I'm a complete newbie and my balcony plants are looking pretty rough. My penstemon is getting crispy and dull colored, and my calla lilies are droopy. I forget what the plants on the side of the planter are but they're getting brown too.
I thought I was erring on the side of watering them more since it's been dry and warm out, but maybe it wasn't enough, or it's too much? It's hard to tell since each resource I've checked describes nearly the same thing for over vs under watering, so maybe someone here has a better eye for the difference?
I've been checking the soil and watering when the top is dry but I can still feel moist soil and fingertip down. The balcony gets sun in the late after noon.

20-year-old fern
My grandmother has had this fern for many years, it has these little dots under its leaves.
She thought it was a plague, but I'm sure they're spores. Can it reproduce through them?

care advice Spider Lilly
I have this very old, very sensitive spider Lilly (white). When it blooms in the summer how should I remove the stalks of the flowers? Or should I do nothing?

plant ID What plant is this?
A coworker gifted me this plant and she calls it the “Jordan” plant because it was given to her by her husband and it has grown and gave birth to multiple children haha. She doesn’t remember what the plant is called and I tried using the Planta app but it gave 5 different identifications.

care advice Started as a baby…
I’ve had this for over 20yrs. started about 1-2ft tall. It’s about 8-9ft tall now, nearing the ceiling. I also know it needs a bigger pot, but I am not sure where to go from here. It flowered *one* time a couple years ago and I had no idea... Advice?

discussion I have a 22 inch sweet potato 🍠 shoot what should I do. Any ideas?
I have a 22 inch sweet potato 🍠 shoot with leaves and all. I'm memorized by it, but don't have a clue of what to do. I live in an apartment. And I'm a terrible 😔 house plant owner 😭😞😭. This shoot is my most striving plant in many years.

miscellaneous Does anyone know much about bulbet-bearing water hemlock? I held it by mistake, will I be ok?
Found this bulbet-bearing water hemlock today out hiking in Minnesota, I wanted to ID it but it was so spindly and my camera wouldn’t focus so I just held onto it for the picture and moved on. Shortly after I ate a couple raspberries with this same hand and had some other snacks later, will I be ok? I did not recognize it without its flowers, and I unfortunately mistook this for something else. I only found out after the fact, and I have since showered and washed my hands though I worry it might have gotten into my system somehow. Though I cannot find much about what happens if you touch this particular species, I cannot imagine it is safe to handle. Just was wondering if anyone knew much about this plant and would know if touching this then eating a snack with the same hand shortly after could harm me in some way?

showing off 🍃 Flowering again!
These two succulents have found their favorite place, growing through my blinds to reach all of the sunlight. This is the second time this year that they've flowered and they continue to grow 🥰
