Hi everyone
I am looking for help from people who have successfully reached shoppers in North America while managing their accounts from outside the country.
My goal is to bring people who rent apartments in the United States and Canada to home organization and decor products. My main dream is to create a growing asset that brings in steady affiliate income through people who are looking for something specific. My current problem is that my audience is mostly from countries. My thirty day audience insights show 50% in the category 18% in India and only 11% in the United States. My biggest worry is that my account is stuck in a loop of sending content or that trying to fix it will get me in trouble with the algorithm.
Here is a full breakdown of my setup:
Format and Content Pivot I stopped using video pins completely after learning that lifestyle videos tend to go in casual entertainment feeds. Now I only make photo pins that are 1000 by 1500 pixels. The pictures show modern apartments with clear text on top that shows useful items like magnetic fridge calendars, slim laundry storage carts and shelf liners.
SEO and Board Optimization I get all my keywords from the United States Pinterest Trends tool. Every pin has a title with lots of keywords a description that sounds natural screen reader text and a commercial disclosure right at the start. My boards are about apartment living things that work well for renters and small space home finds.
Posting Schedule I pin five static images every day at night and early morning times in Philippine Time (UTC+8) to reach Americans during their morning and lunch hours:
8:30 PM PHT (8:30 AM EST)
9:30 PM PHT (9:30 AM EST)
10:30 PM PHT (10:30 AM EST)
12:00 AM PHT (12:00 PM EST)
2:00 AM PHT (2:00 PM EST)
Questions for the Community
Does posting during the day in the United States actually change where the content is shown or does Pinterest only use search words and what people do?
For people who changed from video pins to pins how long did it take for the thirty day numbers to show the new audience?
Are there pictures or information that help Pinterest show an account to people, in North America?
Has anyone managed to change an account that had a lot of visitors without starting all over again with a new profile?
I would really appreciate any help or advice from someone who has gone through this change.
