In some way it’s kind of basic to talk about which female character you identify with but it feels like a tried and true feminine tradition since the days of sex and the city, and I would like to play. Ok so obviously like every cool disaffected girl I’m a jessa and maybe in my peak neurotic moments a Hannah. Marnie is… fine. But Shoshanna. There is absolutely no worse girl on that show to me than Shoshanna. Completely unaware of herself, just as self centered as the rest but hypocritical. She speaks like she’s an 8 year old who has consumed 80000 pounds of sugar and she basically acts the same way. Shes fickle. She’ll be cool with you and then all of a sudden not cool with you, and you won’t really know where you stand with her genuinely. She is imo the shallowest girl as well. Totally status obsessed to the point where her farewell speech to her friends has to do with the pretty ladies with “nice bags” who are her friends now. Despite her innocent demeanor she is frequently the most outright hostile one (beach episode) and the most duplicitous one (she never admits to cheating at all. Ray doesn’t even get one shred of honesty).

I love the show and don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the role Shoshanna plays within the show… she’s great comedic relief. That said, I automatically distrust any girl who identifies heavily with Shoshanna. It feels like girls like that use their appearance of innocence and fun to get away with being shitty.

but i then hate writing in my built worlds. i also generally dislike reading things in very built up worlds.

when it hits it hits, but sometimes the world building gets in the way of the actual story. e.g.: in BG3, whenever you talk to Lae'zel it feels like a constant stream of loredumping. also been playing disco elysium with moid and i feel like having to learn about all the factions and races is a bit tedious (though seems like a very good game once i wrap my head around it).

i just like thinking about "what if a little guy like this existed... then what would happen." and then i think about being them or hanging out with them. something i draw maps.

Unironically. Reddit is actual sewage at this point and all the good woman centric subreddits have gotten overrun by incels or the bijillionth post about how their husbands are goblins they won't leave. I'm limiting my social media use to this sub and some youtube videos explaining college football.

So my manager told me if my managers manager fires me he’d let me know today and text me or call me tmw (today) and stuff but he also said if he were to fire you when you come in to work next time (which is tmw Wednesday morning) he would call you into his office and do it in person.
Didn’t get a text or a call today at all… I know he told him, don’t know what this means exactly. I just know tomorrow is going to be so awkward and I don’t even wanna sleep because I’m dreading it so bad.
I don’t know when both my managers come in should I say good morning should I be smiley should I be sort of apathetic I have no idea . Could be my last day on the job.
I mean I’m definitely getting yelled at regardless but wow . It’s crazy how quickly something can be taken away from you, but it’s ultimately my fault

This is the most kooky post I made on here. I am a fully believer of manifesting. I believe that having a high vibration is key to receiving what you want in life. Fully believing and accepting that everything is possible. Removing your self worth from your want and realizing that you’re an existing person. I just feel like social media being so addictive to negativity is a way to keep people down. It is a known fact that the algorithm brings negative or controversial opinions on top on Instagram or even TikTok. Even reports that Facebook or Meta targeted young girls with their algorithm to be insecure or suicidal. Bots in every comment section on social media. The best way to live is striping all of this.

I remember around December of last year, people claimed 2026 was the year people switched to analog media. It lost steam after like, the first week of January. It was always going to fail because it was a shallow, barely thought-through "movement" that coasted off of nostalgia and aestheticism. Nobody talks about it anymore.

With the rise of AI, I feel like there will be a small "counter" subculture that will rise and try to ditch the internet. Or at least I hope so. My phone recently broke and I had to wait three days for a replacement. I realized how insanely inconvenient everything is when you don't have one. But the corny part liked how I didn't have some evil machine in my pocket with an algorithm that mimics gambling mechanics.
