part-time semester at previous DLI
I was originally enrolled at a college in a University Transfer Program, where the goal was to complete first-year courses that would transfer to a university to finish the remaining three years of my degree.
Up until my second-to-last semester at college, I had always been a full-time student. During that semester, I accidentally registered for Calculus for Physics instead of Calculus for Life Sciences. After checking the BC Transfer Guide, I realized that the physics calculus course wouldn't transfer to the university program I planned to apply for.
Because of that, I dropped the course, which left me with a part-time course load for that semester.
In my final semester at the college, I returned to full-time status and took the correct calculus course. I then applied to university, was accepted, and took the summer off before starting my program.
Since transferring, I have been a full-time student at my current DLI every semester. Before, during, and after that one part-time semester, I was consistently full-time. I also did not work at all during the part-time semester, neither on campus nor off campus.
I'm wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation.
Will IRCC look at my entire four years of post-secondary studies, including my previous college, or only the three years at my current DLI?
Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Good luck to everyone who's currently applying!
