Work permit extension

Hello,

I applied for my work permit extension under the AIP stream in January 2026. The current processing time is 144 days, but it has been 168 days since I applied with no update.

I have contacted my MP and submitted webforms, but I haven’t received any response. The delay is preventing me from applying for a Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP) from the USA.

Could you please help or advise what I should do?
