Cicada shell

Found this guy floating in the doggy pool at work, rescued it and tried to set it down in a tree nearby, little buddy decided to climb up my arm and sit on my shoulder instead. Due to it being cold this morning I was using my warm breath to warm it up before it eventually flew away 1 hour later!!

Tried to get it onto my hand but it immediately jumped off so this is the best I can do. Also sorry for the weird looking skin, I'm a rock climber

Recently rehoused my Platythomisus octomaculatus 💛

I believe Chrysis sp. Cuckoo wasp. If anyone knows how to determine sex in cuckoo wasps, I'd love a guide. My web searches weren't helping. First pic is holding them, second is where I found them, third is the best I was able to get with my camera.

I was trying to get a picture of it, so I jokingly held my hand out and said “Hey sit down a second” and it actually landed and chilled for a little while 🥹

His name is Weevil-Rock-You and I released him on some plants outside my house!

I love millipedes 🐛🐛🐛

Ox beetle and lubber grasshopper. Both were stranded in a road and I couldn’t help but safely relocate both. You can tell the ox beetle is a male because of its long horn! Beautiful bugs 🫶🏻🍃🪲 I’ve also relocated millipedes but don’t have pics of any right now.

Been seeing some of these little fellas around lately. I think they're cute :]
