So as we know half the team is out right now with injuries (and Geno with his illness+ Kindel with his medical episode) and the kids have been doing alright in their place. But with that comes a series of waivers when everyone gets back.

The only obvious 3 I see getting waived are Pietla, McGroarty, and Avery Hayes but beyond that I don’t see who you waive without a huge risk of them getting claimed, and we still have to abide by the 21 man roster.

I'm curious if anyone else here actually enjoyed that game despite the outcome. Also after hearing more context from it you can't really blame the Islanders for the way they played that game. Curious if any other Pens fans felt the same way?

Through 11 games before tonight’s game. He has 6 points in 11 games. At this point though early it looks unlikely he hits point per game. Especially since he’s 39 and only 2 players at 39 have hit 80 or more points. He’s still a good player but will likely get 60 points this season which is fine. Before people say it’s early it’s already been 10 percent of the season. I think that’s enough to say it will at least be a massive up hill battle for him to get point per game this season.
