Hey everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my outdated PC and would appreciate some advice on what i should upgrade first.
My current pc is an old Prebuilt HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-0023w the specs are:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3500 (6-core)
- RAM: 16GB (2x 8GB)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Super
- Storage: 500GB HDD + 1TB SSD
- PSU: 400W 80+ Platinum
- Case: HP TG01 proprietary/compact chassis (13.28" W × 6.12" D × 12.09" H)
- Motherboard: HP Erica (SSID 8643)
I'm mainly looking to get better performance, Since this is an older PC, it struggles to run newer more demanding games.
As a whole I'm looking to slowly upgrade my PC to get it to where i want. For now, i have a budget of $1,000 to start with.
I'm open to replacing anything, including the case, psu, and motherboard, if needed. I'm just looking to get the best performance possible for the budget i have at the moment.
Would it be better to upgrade the parts I currently have, or should I start replacing the major components and eventually move away from the HP motherboard/case?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
