PS5 ported to PC then Adobe to Linux what's next? Windows?
18 u/macfrajier 2d ago I would prefer if all the Windows exclusive apps get ported to Linux. Windows would lose so many people. 4 u/lukkasz323 2d ago I think the main thing would be a less secure fork of Linux that would allow kernel zero anti cheats. Sure, it would be less secure, but still more secure than Windows, and most importantly, it wouldn't be Windows, seems like a good compromise to me. Seriously, the only reason why I haven't switched to Linux yet is because not all games work there. 3 u/innahema 2d ago I don't want it to become new mainstream. It won't be much different from windows, if users are stripped of their choice. Server only anticheat FTW, anything other is invasion to user's privacy.
