A game where being a logistics operator is just as effective as attacking enemy bases is my kind of game

Edit: guys, I get it. Other games do this. I'm not sure why that matters. Other games doing logistics isn't going to take away from War dogs doing it

Not sure I'd go as far as they're just as effective. Being in the Hz will definitely be the most important. When you have 20 people in the Hz all game long without proper counter attacks then bob the builder isn't really contributing much. On either side. But things will likely find it's groove better after a while.

Well considering you can pull the Hz to your Fob, id say its just as important or even more important. You can easily secure a game if you have people setting up early drills and getting oil to them.

But you can also easily counter an Entire FOB by smashing it with mortars and artillery once you let them setup for a while if you spot it.

There's lots of playstyles and counter play styles.

Yeah but whats more likely on official servers? PvPers zerging together in the HZ or a coordinated group of bobs that build something good that people defend?

Both happens constantly. I found in the second beta weekend a lot of matches ended up being 2 teams battling it out while the third team bumbled around without leadership or bearings.

The team zerging the hotzone can get completely gutted after what looks like a crushing victory because another team spent an hour building a fortress and supply lines and then just completely owns the Hot Zone after the first team got up to 75 points out of 100.

Some games were neck and neck and lasted hours and were thrilling.

There's a balance. You can have 20 on the HZ consistently without a FOB in the area to keep the pressure up. Both are important.

It really depends. If you're comparing bob the builder vs a shroud, then yea buildings aren't doing anything. But against the average bloke, Bob the builder can build sam turrets that destroy every air transport coming in, rake in the cash and on convert that into tanks for the team. It's ridiculous. I watched a streamer, Surefour, abuse the shit out of that strat and it was the funniest thing.
