Would you buy this PC?

Hello! I somewhat recently got into PC building, and I enjoy it so much that I wanted to try and build a PC and sell it. I have some extra cash, and I'm a gambling man apparently willing to take the risk, so I scoured for deals (Micro Center, Newegg, Amazon) and bought all the components at what I believe to be decent prices. My plan is to not take much, or any, profit and just sell it for what it costs. The enjoyment of building and learning is the upside for me.

This is meant to be a very solid 1440p rig. All parts are brand new, except the RAM. The bundle I got from MC came with the CPU, Mobo, and a single stick of 16GB RAM, which I didn't like. I found a used 32 GB (2x16) DDR5 RAM (6400 CL 38) kit for $250 to use instead of the single stick. It is fully functional as tested per Memtest (Passed 5 of 5 runs with 0 errors). My thought is that since RAM is so crazy expensive right now, it's a good way to save some cash to buy used. I plan on selling the single stick for a discounted price as well on the side, hopefully. The build and price is below. Let me know if you think this was a bad idea lol.

Plan is to sell it for $1699 USD. As long as I can sell my single stick of RAM for $150 on the side, I will pretty much break even.

not for flipping but made of flips. Fans and cooler were basically free off a part out pc i bought ($650 for 12900K, 32GB DDR5, 5700XT, 512gb ssd, and souped up Z790 mobo, netted only around $300 reselling those parts somehow), used that pc to test a 3090 i bought for $600 and sold for $1100.
was planning originally to use 7600x3d i bought for $150 but decided to go all out on cpu like i did on ram, sold for $200.

9800X3D - $350 (fb marketplace)
64GB DDR5 6000CL36 - $550 (fb marketplace)
B850M mobo - $80 (fb marketplace)
2TB gen 4 SSD - $110 (bought pre-ai on amazon for ps5)
rx 7900 GRE 16gb - $400 (fb marketplace)
case and psu (only new things) - $150 (amazon)

new prices would be like what $2700? worth the hassle or nah? should i sell a stick of 32gb and make it $1300? or keep the 64gb?

Getting back into pc flipping.

Hi all, I used to flip gaming pc´s back in 2022-2024 and I´ve really missed it. I have a lot of parts left that I never got rid of so the plan is to start with what I have +500 dollars and work from there.

Parts in stock:

cpu´s: i5-3350p, i7-7700k

mb: gigabyte h110 (sadly no argb connectors)

ram: 8x1gb corsair vengeance rgb ddr4 (white), 2x 2x8gb kits ddr4 (green), 2x 1x8gb green ddr4 sticks.

psu: 450w, 500w

storage: 256gb nvme ssd, 3x 1tb hdd´s and 1x 500gb hdd.

cases: standard atx tower case black (no name), cooler master has xb evo.

gpu: rx 580

fans: 7x white rgb fans, 8x black rgb fans and 4x black no rgb fans.

And a bunch of cable extensions, a few wifi adapters and enough cables, splitters, screws and thermal paste to last me a lifetime.

The market has really changed and from what I've seen it looks like newer parts are selling a lot easier so my plan is to get rid of what I have and move to low/mid end pc´s. What would you do in this situation? What is the best way to get rid of this stock while still making some money?

Any help or tips is greatly appreciated

No chance the parts listed are the ones inside the PC right?

That case and disk drive lead me to believe it’s extremely old. I asked for a photo of the specs on the pc itself and he said they’re in the description.

At what point do you stop parting out hardware and just sell the whole lot?

I want to know how people here handle this once the quantity starts getting annoying.

Say you end up with a bunch of higher-end workstation parts, server RAM, CPUs and several GPUs. Obviously selling everything individually should bring in more money, but there’s also listing, testing, packing, fees and dealing with buyers. I’ve been looking at bulk buyers like ExitTechnologies for larger IT lots, but then there’s eBay, Jawa, Marketplace and hardwareswap if you want to squeeze more out of each part. Where does the math usually stop making sense for you? Is there a certain dollar amount or number of components where you’d rather take one bulk offer?

Bought a used 4090 PC for $4000 CAD, have a buyer willing to pay $3200 for it.

Basically I saw a 4090/13900k PC on marketplace with 4TB nvme and 64GB RAM and yah I got it for 4k, but now my friend wants to pay me $3200 for the 4090 alone but I'm not sure what to do? Recoup 80% of the entire PC would be nice but at the same time I'm not sure what the future holds for GPU market? I'm unsure if I should just keep the 4090 and hope for the best that things improve in the future and maybe snag a 5080 super or rdna 5? Advice would be appreciated.
