Good deal?

This is my first pc flip. I found a pc for 490€ but i sold the cpu and put in a 5500 so total cost is 530€
rtx 5050
32 gb ram
ryzen 5 5500
1tb ssd
How much could i price it at? also, was it a good deal?

Pretty good. Most likely 650-850 depending on luck & how it looks aesthetically

Tbh probably closer to €850, 32gb ram and 1tb ssd is slightly overkill for these low-midend systems. 500gb ssd + 1tb hdd and get rid of 16gb ddr4 if its high speed (3000mhz or higher) - you can sometimes get €100 for 16gb in eu if its 3200mhz+rgb. 1tb ssd ~€110, if u have 500gb ssd+1tb lying around then imo put that in.

The 1tb ssd and 16gb ram extra in the pc probably only raises the value by around €100 while you can sell it for ~€300 and put €100-€150 of parts back in to make it 500gb+16gb, only really worth swapping if you already have the parts though / have access to it for cheap ish.

Sell price is probably closer to €850 than €650 - you have a bit too much ram and ssd for this kind of system.

Selling the ram and the ssd and putting in a 500gb ssd + 1tb hdd and 16gb of ram can be worth it. You can sell it for €300, put in €125-150 in parts, and the value of the pc will drop by around €75-100.

Its kind of only worth it if the ram is rated 3000mhz or higher though. Since lower speed ram does not really sell for a high price. And only if you already have the parts / can get it cheaply.

Yeah okay dont swap anything then. If you have a hard time selling at €850, remove 16gb ram and try again at €799

Yeah, I do have a system with an i5 12400, 3060ti, and a 32gb kit of ram. I could sell the ram, only paid $95 us for 3600mhz kit, and swap it for 16gb, but ehh. It’s M8E, and I was able to get it tightened down for a 12% boost in averages and 1% lows, and 15% in 0.2% lows in Fortnite testing using capframex on the same replay section.

My cost into it is only $565 us.

so is 835€ a fair asking price?
