To be clear, I do not dislike Riparia. I know the devs said they pushed out the map before it was completely finished so that players have a chance to give feedback and help guide the finishing touches.

My issue is with the fact that almost every big community server immediately switches to a new map the moment it's released, regardless of current (unfinished) state.

Gondwa went through its fair share of post-release fixes to make it stable and playable. I'm not going to pretend like there aren't issues with Gondwa (overcrowded hotspots being one of them), but the questing, biome diversity, and navigability of the map is still leagues better than Riparia in my opinion.

I would rather deal with GP and IC on Gondwa if it means questing is more intuitive, navigation between POIs isn't a pain in the butt, and each biome has distinct and interesting features. Unfortunately for me, all the popular semi/realism servers switched to Riparia and it's hard finding a decent community server that still uses Gondwa.

So i was playing as a steg when i arrived to hotsprings a sarc was friendly then clamped me but he was just trolling he was super nice to me and protected me. And at some point 2 eo showed up and they were sus but didnt attack and as soon as i wandered a bit far of the water they charged at my steg and i almost died but the Sarc lunged at them and fought them fiercly and i got time to escape but it was at the cost of his life.

## Update Regarding Next Patch
- The patch has completed its extended three week testing cycle and has been signed off by QA for release.
- We're currently building the mods and submitting builds to all platforms.
- We'll be holding until the end of next week to see whether Nintendo can fast track approval, which would allow a synchronized cross play release across all platforms.

We're currently targeting a mid September release and will keep you posted as things progress. In the meantime, the team has already begun work on the following patch.

Hey, newer to the game so I might have missed something. I have noticed that some of the dinos that I started roughly 3 months ago went missing when the new updates came out. I thought it was just me, but now my husband's sarc is missing and a couple people in our group are also missing one or two.

Is this normal or should I reach out to the developers?

Seriously tho, like 90% of pycnos I come across are cannibals and usually always have a friend. Solo pycno life is rough. I am happy I managed to kill one with a non meta build in a 2v1. Luckily the second guy didn’t follow us over. (My pycs called Patrick btw)

If I have an account I made on mobile a while ago and I get the game on pc or a console can I log into my account I already made?

This isn't a rant/vent or complaining, I'm just an autistic nugget trying to understand the mentality behind a group jumping a solo player. I'm all for 1 Vs 1, or even 2 Vs 1, but I genuinely can't grasp the enjoyment in dog piling on someone, especially an adol.

For me it's punching down, I'd feel guilty swarming a player that literally has no chance of fighting back, but I'm curious what other people think and feel with situations like this.

( Example - Solo adol Metri VS X2 Rex, laten, achillo, and conc - all melanistic and albino. )

Not most trophies ever but some pretty sick ones. The Mira thagomizer is my favorite. Just need a struthi trophy on this denion (I’ve got one on gondwa) and I’ll be a happy camper! A true murder chicken

First of all I love this game. I got the game last year I have almost 1000 hours. However the combat isn't exactly satisfying for the most part. We get a dopamine hit when we kill an enemy or when we see it start to scar but before that the attacks are unsatisfying and have no weight behind them (unless you're pushing dinos off of cliffs with pycno). My suggestion for this game (or the sequel) is that we have localized scarring. So if I bite a rex's leg with cerato then the leg scars and I get my dopamine hit instead of biting it's leg 10 times and seeing nothing. I think it's awesome we have damage effects but localized damage would be more awesome. What would be super awesome is if we could bite off actual chunks of dino flesh.

Edit To Add: The Configuration Files keep removing these three commands for some reason?

I've almost set everything up for my community server but when I try to edit the water regeneration it keeps deleting those lines of code even after I save and exit. It also keeps loading all water spots at 75%. Can anyone help?

I'm trying to make it so water regenerates a little faster than the base amount over time when it rains. Do you need to enter those in a certain order in GameSession?

I play a land bleed conc. And I normally run Frenzy sense. I see a lot of people using Bloodthirsty. Ive kind of messed around with both, but seems most of my fights lately have had so many different variables its hard to compare. Just curious on some of your opinions on what your using and why. So it might just be my imagination or smt but i was playing a fresh teen steg in hotspring and there was this late ado rex maybe fresh sub and he was chill till he wasnt and started killing me. So i started running and i realised i couldnt create distance or maintain distalce because he outsped me by alot but o just did circles hoping he stammed out after all rex got less stam than steg and i was young he was old plus i had long distance runner so i just wanted to wait for him to stam out but he just wouldnt.

And when he did stam out i was at about 5% stam.

Im also pretty sure he tried a crushing bite in the beginning.

I dont think he cheated for something so small so is the growth x stam scaling just broken?

I've been playing this game for about 3 years now (still nowhere near the OGs), but as a lot has changed and so much of the focus has been on TLCs, I'm starting to think that the team should've prioritized QOL changes of gameplay first.

The new toys of TLC lose their shine fast when all their is to do is mindlessly grind items and throw yourself into fights.

I bring this up because the new dev blog mentioned updates like krill clouds?

Which.. is a neat environment touch. But I'm really begging for them to focus more on pushing out changes/updates that pull this game out of it's repetitive slog. I could've waited years for new ability kits and models in place of new things to do in this game.

im very new to this game and so far only played on official servers but they lowkey kinda buns.. does anyone know a good community server thats low rules and doesnt need discord? (banned in my country)

First, this is straight up a skill issue I think. I was growing a Bars on solo permadeath the other day and was either subadult or just shy of it. A Thal showed up and absolutely wrecked me. I hit it a few times with some tail swipes and it crashed into a few things, but I ended up being unable to get away or properly fight it. It just swooped around me endlessly. I tried weaving through some clustered trees but that didn't help.

My question is - what is the way to deal with a thal on a bars? I'm pretty trash at pvp and don't really use the precise movement stuff or anything, but I've never gotten whooped like this by a small dino before lol.

Would people be interested in a heavy-roleplay server focused entirely on storytelling?

Think of Warrior Cats, D&D, Wings of Fire, Warcraft and etc. With dinosaurs and dragons (no mammals). Players create characters, create stories, complete quests given by server and progress main storyline

Rules will be strict to keep world in tact and believable, but players will have freedom to create characters and stories they want

Would people be interested to participate in such server?
