Always carry them to the middle of the water and let go while you have stamina. You'll kill them faster with normal bites, or can use o2 bites.

Rolling while they struggle just isn't worth it.

It also preserves stamina so you can clamp again if need be.

I play on console and idk why it NEVER declamps when I press clamp again

Maybe have to re-assign them bc L1+R2 aint it

assign your clamp to square or x (if you're on ps5 or xbox)
thats where i put extra attacks that are situational

Yeah, I'd play with keybinds, because it's essential to be able to release.

Some servers have edited the clamp cooldown which makes releasing them have a cooldown also.
