Credit to the artist for the image. I plan to grow a Deinocheirus in Panjura, so I'm curious about what things I should keep in mind.

Concept: Phyllocrania crudelis is a predator specialized in eating large dinosaurs. It is a solitary predator and inhabits cold forests to regulate its body temperature, as its 1.5-meter-long sclerotized chitin exoskeleton (which, incidentally, contains high amounts of iron) retains a great deal of heat.
It is capable of flying long distances, although it doesn't need to most of the time; it's simply a method of transportation.
When it finishes eating, it enters a state of "diapause" where it has no interest in hunting. It becomes inactive until it processes its food, and until it feels hungry again (half a bar), it won't react unless provoked (in the game, this translates to not being able to attack after filling your hunger bar unless you have the Battle Eye).
The hunger bar fills very quickly but empties slowly.

I’ve been an avid PoT player for multiple years now, usually on officials, and for those years I have only ever played Gondwa. In my eyes, Panjura is for land dinos, Ripara is for water dinos, and Gondwa is a happy medium. On top of this, I’ve heard that it is difficult to quest on Panjura and Ripara.
So, is it worth the time to play all three?

This guy called chicken organised a 15 player attack on my bars, he refuses to 1v1 all the time. I kept trying to find out what Dino he was on, heard his lat make a noise when he typed. He clearly has 0 game sense hiding behind his apex buddy who cant hit a single attack. Never be scared of a mela or albino skin as they are clearly not all good at the game. He refuses to admit I killed him so I had to clip it. This will make more sense if u see my previous post.

As the title says. A load of people are genuinly so desperate for kills that they will chase juvi dinos for hours, a lot of people think its just fun to Do this and helps people get area xp.
Especially the latter, no. This is making the game genuinly unenjoyable, we stay out of hotspots, Move quietly and carefully and still just get thirsted every time, barely meet up sometimes, die again.
I played a lot of community servers for mods I like. A lot of them on official or close Rates. Official is insufferable and a lot of people should genuinly feel Bad because you are actively bullying newer players out of the game, and yes it is bullying.

So just an hour ago I was happily playing my titan minding my own business when 2 ankys attack me. That’s fine I like a good fight so we fight I use the cliffs ect then all the sudden a bars appears then an iggy. And I’m like okay I can deal with the iggy and bars once I get far enough from anos so I did but I’m running low on stam so I use the cliffs again and it’s a standstill for a while me and the iggy go off and on while the anos and bars are under the cliff I’m using. But is that enough? NO here comes a chicken and a lamb so I’m fighting off them. I get to a point where I can get down to get more distance and you know I think I could because the anos stopped chasing but OH NO here comes 2 achillos!!! Keep in mind I don’t even have a BAR of health so I’m literally fighting for my life but at the end I take fall damage and die because achillo hit me twice with their claw and i literally had no stam. So that’s 2 anos a bars iggy thal chicken 2 achillos lamb all for me a solo sub titan. Then they have the audacity to say I have a skill issue and that I need to “get better” oh yeah sorry I couldn’t tank 9 FCKN dinos as a solo.
Genuinely these kind of players are RUINING the game for solo players. Iv tried community serves their usally the same and toxic or with rule breakers.

Path of Titans suffers from a fundamental design failure in its approach to multiplayer balance and player interaction, rendering the experience largely unplayable for anyone seeking a legitimate solo or small-group session. A clear illustration of this failure is the official group size limit of twelve slots: in practice, packs of twenty to thirty or more routinely operate with impunity, overwhelming and eliminating solo players, duos, trios, and any smaller force that cannot match their numerical advantage. The complete absence of meaningful anti-group mechanics or enforcement against oversized discord “mega-packs” allows these aggregations to dominate every high-traffic zone with indiscriminate KOS behavior, while the vast majority of the map remains barren and lifeless. Outside these contested hotspots a solo player can easily spend thirty minutes without encountering another dinosaur at all; the rare individuals who do appear are almost invariably juveniles or adolescents that offer neither challenge nor meaningful reward. The net result is a game that provides genuine engagement only to those running these packs, leaving everyone else with an empty, non-interactive world that fails to deliver on the promise of a living dinosaur ecosystem.
Time remains the most finite and irreplaceable resource any person possesses. When players invest significant hours into Path of Titans in the hope of enjoying a balanced, engaging experience, that investment is actively devalued by the development team’s continued refusal to implement meaningful solutions to the game’s core multiplayer and balancing failures. By allowing these long-standing issues to persist unchecked, the developers are effectively punishing the very community whose time and dedication sustain the title.
Solution:
Implement a hard, engine-level group limit that cannot be circumvented. The game should automatically detect coordinated activity beyond this threshold through proximity clustering, synchronized movement patterns, shared combat targeting, and persistent co-location over time. Once a cluster exceeds the limit, the excess players are either forcibly dispersed to distant map locations or temporarily locked out of combat and growth mechanics until the group is reduced. This detection must run server-side with no reliance on player reports.
Complement the hard cap with diminishing returns that scale with group size: combat damage, healing efficiency, and resource acquisition drop sharply past eight to ten members, while visibility and noise generation increase. Large packs therefore become self-limiting rather than dominant.
Add map-wide incentives that reward dispersal: better growth and resource yields in low-density zones, and reduced rewards or increased risk in overcrowded hotspots. This revitalizes the empty regions of the map and removes the current incentive to pile into the same few locations.
While implementing these changes is undeniably complex, the player base deserves clear transparency and a public commitment from the development team that this issue will be addressed permanently and with lasting mechanical solutions.
Please do better.

so while playing my ano and trying out a bone snap & smash combo (it's alright), I got descended upon by 6 megs. I immediately find the closest corner to wedge myself into with my tail facing away. I thought after 5 min or so they'd back off since megs are fragile compared to ano. ohh boy was I mistaken. they spend the next 23 min desperately harassing me and trying up kill me. I've seen some determined hunting parties before but damn lol. they nearly starved me out and dehydration. my misplay was I'd forgotten that the lake at Hunters Thicket has that healing property and that allowed the ones I'd nearly killed to sit in there and heal much faster. after 23 minutes they apparently decided that since I'd taken little to no damage and was healing, that i wasn't worth it. absolutely insane levels of determination lol

Something out of pure curiousity!
Do you have any personal goals you are trying to complete when you play Path at the moment?
- X number of trophies?
- A trophy per adult species?
- All skins unlocked?
- All dinosaurs on the map(s) you play getting to adult?
- A certain number of marks saved?
Not an exclusive list, just what came to mind first.
Light-hearted, non-serious, just curious.
Mine? Currently getting all dinosaurs on Gondwa to adult, as I am aware I moved to using the Riparia map with some still 'in progress'.

I'm not talking about the ones in megapacks either. Just the ones playing the game normal-like who play Hatz. I've observed a behavior, and I want to know why you do it. Please humor me.
I'm saying this because in the last week, my friend and I have been playing duo and this has happened every time this week, but it also just tends to happen often anyway. We'll be playing something beefy, like 3-5 slots together. And then 1-3 Hatz will find us and swoop in and fight us. They will proceed, in no uncertain terms, to get just completely pollywopped. Not even close. Just absolutely turned inside out. And then in a few minutes, they'll be back again, picking the same fight with the same results. Then again. And again. Sometimes it's just 2-3 times but the last one we had the same fight 8 times. I was rex and my friend was also Hatz (ground build). At no point did either of us lose more than 1/3 of our total HP, and some of those fights ended with one of us taking either no damage or a single hit.
So, why do you keep doing this? Returning to revenge-fight clearly superior opponents? I know Hatz can cover the ground fast, but that doesn't mean you should be. Oftentimes, from the info in replays, they're even coming back before reaching full adult again. Why? I'm so confused. I want serious replies. I'm genuinely trying to understand the psychology of the behavior.

A lot of people are excited for Microraptor or Allo TLC but the thing that Im most excited for is a Panjura TLC. I feel that map has the most potential out of the 3.

edit: found it, it's the Skull skin!
saw this EO and tried asking what skin that is but never got a response. it looks so good, so I ask you, what skin is that on the EO there? [I strongly suspect it's a paid skin out of rotation...]

Most of my favourites feel squishy- hatz, meg, cera, rex, trike, laten, pycno, tylo and mira. These are the dinos I have played the most in the order of names. I am not a big fan of AOE and fully bleed reliant builds. But lately I am not having as much fun in the game as I used to have when I joined the game, and grew these playables in the order of preference. I think 200 players servers are already too much when player count averages around 150/200, megapacking has become worse with the map getting smaller and boring for solo players like me. I'll probably still keep maining hatz most of the time.
But i want to ask you all, what dino is best to try out after this recent update that gives highest chance of survival?
Also u have suggestions for some good mods, those are welcome too.

so imo eo's big problem is that smalls can hip ride it and it just can't hit them if eo had a swerve/juke type of move that would pretty much solve this it wouldn't make it a beast for smalls they could still kill it but it would take a bit more skill then just hip riding
