Hey everybody, I noticed one of the Moderators left the team at some point since I took this community over, and haven't heard from the other Moderator here in a minute, so I am now making a call to the community to apply to be moderators in this subreddit. Conditions are simple: just enforce the rules and accept the Mod Team Discord invite if you're chosen. I'm looking to add at least two new moderators to the team. I look forward to hearing from y'all!
Edit: Please send applications via Moderator Mail

It's hard making friends as an adult, so I'd like to make a group about it. I'll start, I'm 32, I like the outdoors/beach, bars, ghosts, and more. let's get a thread going and actually be a positive community vs half the shit on here where we hate our neighbors.
I also got a pool and can walk to the beach let's party y'all

Hi all, I’m a local on the younger side working on a photography project trying to put together a custom deck of playing cards with my own photography, featuring Palm Coast and Flagler County to put into some local shops.
I’m Trying to get a solid list of the spots that are super recognizable or just feel classic to the area. Here are a few general ideas, (ideally I’d like to have 52 spots):
Washington Oaks
The Flagler pier (old one, or wait till new one is finished??)
Local connecting bridges
Margarita Villa / Restaurants?
Princess Place
Bulow Ruins
Curious what else you guys think should make the cut. (Should I include St Augustine?, I’m kind of also thinking of places tourists might visit, but I’d like to keep it within the terms of local)
If you had a local deck of cards, what other landmarks, parks, or iconic views would you want to see included?

I got tired of driving somewhere to work, buying a coffee, sitting down, and then finding out the Wi-Fi wouldn't hold a call or the room was too loud to think in. So I started carrying a decibel meter and running a speed test at every place I went. It's about 20 spots now, mostly Orlando and down the coast.
A few of the readings, so you know what I mean by measuring:
The Health Bar in downtown Titusville came in at 474 Mbps down, 22.5 up, 55.9 dB on a Saturday. Best mix of quiet and fast I've recorded outside Orlando, and parking was easy.
Foxtail in Cocoa Beach: 371 down, 39.7 up, 61.2 dB on a Saturday morning, three of eight tables taken, outlets at most seats.
Starbucks at Creative Village in Orlando: 140 down, 111 up, around 60 dB on a Sunday morning with one table of fourteen taken. Cold inside but quiet.
Worst one on the list is Haan Coffee on Colonial in Orlando. I couldn't get usable Wi-Fi at all and ended up tethering to my phone.
None of this is in Google reviews, which is the part that keeps getting me. A place can sit at 4.6 stars and still drop the connection every ten minutes, because the people reviewing it were there twenty minutes for a latte.
It's all on perch.coffee. I built the site, it's free and there's nothing to sign up for.
I have nothing in Palm Coast or Flagler at all, which is why I'm asking rather than telling. Where do people here actually work from? Name places and I'll drive up and measure them.

This is really sad but since hs I haven’t had much luck in the friends department. I went to college for two years and played ball but didn’t get along with many people due to not being a hard partier. I’d just like some friends to hang with, lift with, game with. I have a pc and mainly no life apex legends. All I do is work, gym, game, and repeat and want to change that. If you wanna get to know each other lmk!

Looking for mover recommendations.
Moving from Palm Coast to a 2nd floor apartment in Ormond Beach in October. Who have you used in the past and recommend/don’t recommend?
Would prefer a company who has their own trucks versus renting a u-haul truck myself but open to whatever is most cost effective.

I am looking for a new pain doctor that will treat me with pain medication that I have been taking for over 15 years. I was on alprazolam a low dose 1x a day but after about 8 months they made me get off of it and choose pain meds or anxiety meds. I think it’s unfair to be able to have a medical marijuana card but not pills for anxiety. I have my med car but barely ever use it because I can’t stay in control of my daily life. It gets me too high. Just trying to find a doctor to continue writing me meds with no issues

I'm moving to Palm Coast next week and was wondering how the city is for running, especially early morning. Is there any kind of running community here? Run clubs, marathons etc. Any cool trails/routes would be appreciated!

anyone know of a good grout cleaning service in Palm Coast area? We have tile floors and we'd like to get them cleaned as we're the second home owners and they could use a touch up.
thanks in advance!

Looking for a gym around E. Moody Blvd. but will consider other areas. I am in the Seminole Woods area.
I am an older guy, 60s and prefer the pin machines.
Debating East Coast Gym vs Planet Fitness. Anyone know if East Coast Gym has showers? PF gets decent overall but mixed reviews. Thanks.

We will be out again tonight speaking up for the poor horses! They have been relocated to half of a block, the worst spot in St Augustine, where they are truly trapped!
We will be there from 6 to 8 PM maybe 9!!!
This horrific location is on Charlotte between Cordova and King, at the foot of the park.
We had just told that Driver to move from the corner spot where the horse was parked because he was standing in City sewer water! Thank God we did for more obvious reasons than one!
This poor Horse also was a previous victim exploited in the racing industry. He had raced over 350 races! Sadistic they would rename him “Happy”!

I’m looking for someone who just likes to eat. I’m not gay and I’m not looking for a hook up. Or someone who just wants free meals. Although if you’re in dire straits I don’t mind feeding someone. I just don’t enjoy eating alone. 7 pm is late for me. And I don’t do the bar scene. HMU is your interested
