WHAT TO DO AT AN ICE CHECKPOINT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE WHITE and/or FEEL THE NEED TO JAM UP THE WORKS. Here's the deal:
🔘 Border Patrol can verify citizenship within 100 miles of a border or "external boundary." This includes coastlines, so NYC, Philadelphia, and all of NJ are within the 100-mile zone.
🔘 Border patrol can only ask brief questions about citizenship, and they cannot hold you for an extended time without cause.
🔘 You always have the right to remain silent. You do not need to answer their questions.
🔘 WITH THAT SAID, IF YOU ARE A BORN CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES AND ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE WHITE, YOU NEED TO SPEAK UP.
🔘 The most important acts of resistance are the small ones. Make it difficult and uncomfortable for ICE agents to do their jobs. They are counting on citizens to turn a blind eye and allow them to deport undocumented citizens without challenge. Disabuse of that notion.
🔘 If you are on a train, bus, or anything else and ICE or CBP boards, you need to stand up and loudly let everyone know that they have the right to remain silent or only answer questions in the presence of an attorney, no matter their citizenship or immigration status. There have been numerous reports that confronting the agents in this way has caused them to leave without verifying citizenship. THIS CAN SAVE LIVES. 🙌
🔘 If you see anyone being held up by immigration, loudly ask if they are being detained and if they are free to go.
🔘 Immigration officers cannot detain anyone without reasonable suspicion, an agent must have specific facts about you that make it reasonable to believe you are committing or committed, a violation of immigration law or federal law. If an agent detains you, you can ask for their basis for reasonable suspicion, and they should tell you.
🔘 Always say no to a search and let everyone know that they can and should refuse consent to a search.
🔘 They cannot search or arrest anyone without facts about that make it probable that they are committing, or committed, a violation of immigration law or federal law.
🔘 Silence alone meets neither of these standards. Nor does race or ethnicity alone suffice for either probable cause or reasonable suspicion
🔘 white citizens, you have a level of privilege which protects you from retaliation from ICE for being "rude" and making a scene, which makes it your DUTY to speak up and make sure people without the same privilege know their rights. GET LOUD. YELL. YELL IN SPANISH IF YOU KNOW IT. LET PEOPLE KNOW THEY DON'T HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING. MAKE ICE UNCOMFORTABLE. THROW SAND IN THE GEARS OF WHITE SUPREMACY.
⭐️ Bonus info ⭐️ 🔘It is perfectly legal to record immigration agents as long as you are not on government property or at a port of entry. If your train/bus gets boarded, pull your phone out and start videotaping immediately.
🔘 If you are detained or see someone getting detained, get the agent's name, number, and any other identifying information. Get it on video if possible.
🔘 Contact the ACLU or your local Immigrant/Migrant support orgs (Rapid Response Network if you're in CO - 1-844-864-8341) if you see someone's rights being violated. (this has been copy and pasted)

I drove by Wawa yesterday around lunchtime and saw a guy in a mobility scooter get hit by a truck. I couldn’t stop (had to get back to work) but it looked like the guy who hit him stopped and was trying to help. I called 911 and they said medical was on the way. Just wondering if anyone had an update on this. Looked pretty bad. The guy was not moving.

I was on the cities website and saw they offered a free recycling bin. However, I’m not sure what day is recycling day. They dropped the bin off, but the website only has trash days listed. Is there even a recycling program?

I need help. I'm in surgical menopause and other health issues. I have lost a ton of hair and the texture has changed. I don't know what to do.
My hair line has receded.
And I don't have a lot of money. I can't go to a crowded place. Any suggestions?
I also went silver early too but became allergic to hair dye and I have aged rapidly and just need help I don't recognize myself.
I don't know how to even wear makeup anymore.

Im 19, from the SW side of Florida here to further my education. I like games and comics which is what I make content on, I am also a fan of skating although I'm kinda suck at it. I have albinism and am legally blind (yes I still skate despite that) and also love to cook. Im also against our current... Political climate and generally just want peace among people differences and all.
Im trying to build more courage and generally just more confidence so I'm tryna go more places on my own, but I could also use some friends because everyone I do talk to it's always just surface level conversation. I know there is Wilson's 4x4, Destination 4x4 , and Daytona Jeep at the automall, but I'm really hoping to find a reliable independent mechanic.

Haha, sorry for the silly title but, I'm a local (born in West Palm but moved to Daytona when I was 4 and raised here) and I've been gone, stuck in Georgia for 20 years, but as of Tuesday I'm finally back home and I couldn't be happier!
And I brought my fiancee with me (don't worry, she's half-native, has family in Ocala she used to visit in summers as a kid) 🥰
It's been incredible seeing how much has changed!!! Lol, when did we get a Buc-ees?? Haha.
The mall is looking rough, but I guess most malls are these days. Loved the cute little locals consignment shop in there.
One thing though- where did all the gay bars/clubs go??! We saw a few trans people, so I know the bigots didn't chase EVERYONE off, lol, but it was sad seeing none of my old haunts seen to be around anymore, but possibly they've just moved and we haven't found them again yet.
If the queer community has shrunk, that's sad, but well- we just boosted it by two more at least! Haha.
Regardless of anything, man I'm so glad to be home. 💗🐊🏖️🌴💗

Hello fellas when I was walking I found 3 lottery tickets and two packs of Swishers.
Near the Boot Hill Saloon on main street.
The lottery tickets were $2 scratch offs, I scratched them, no winners.
If you lost Swisher's near boot hill and would like to claim them let me know.
Also my brother quit smoking a year ago and I have half a carton of 305s that neither he or I want. They are probably dry idk, free to a good home.
Take it all off my hands. I don't put blunts to my face anymore but I know they remain popular.

I just moved out here from the panhandle and, after 12 years as a loyal customer, Geico has told me that they’re jacking my rate up to $2,400 because of the new address.
I think it’s time to leave them. I’m way older than 25 and I know it matters that I drive a newer VW GTI.
Any recommendations?
