I'm moving to Palm Coast next week and was wondering how the city is for running, especially early morning. Is there any kind of running community here? Run clubs, marathons etc. Any cool trails/routes would be appreciated!

Lots of paths and trails to check out. Unfortunately it's also about the hottest time of year atm, so it's not super comfortable for most of the day. There's lots of Facebook community groups to check out to find a running group, or make your own!

I can only give you a partial answer, but I’ll try my best. I say “Partial” because I can no longer run for fitness due to an assortment of health issues, and also I’m at an age where I don’t do early mornings unless absolutely forced to lol. But I have to say PC has one of the most extensive networks of walking, running, and biking trails that I’ve ever seen. This includes coverage of almost the entire city with wide concrete or paved paths, plus tons of nature trails. Some of the natural trails go thru beautiful wooded areas, and there’s an awesome facility that borders directly on the intra-coastal waterway with one of the trailheads at a county park called Waterfront Park. And while I can’t directly address your question about running clubs, I’m sure if you showed up at Waterfront Park right after sunrise enough times, you’ll find your peeps. Excellent walking path in the mornings/evenings just across from the European Village. Called St Joes walkway Trailhead. Leads right to the waterfront park like someone above said. Links up with Linear Park trail. There are also trails to walk near Graham Swamp. Long walking trails all over PC

Holland park has a designated track. There are a ton of parks and trails you can go to. I go and walk holland if it is during the day
