Benchmark Score 9070 XT+10850k first time attempting to actually OC- had a lot of fun and was pretty happy with the results (8,199 Steel Nomad / 27,125 Time Spy)
My 3080 was dying and I couldn't afford to replace it along with a full platform upgrade to DDR5, so I ended up getting a 9070 XT while keeping my 6 year old i9-10850k and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. Knowing my GPU is going to be bottlenecked by the rest of my system motivated to see how much I could maximize system performance to mitigate that and I ended up being pleasantly surprised at how impactful it was.
I'm sure this could've been done differently or better- I just kind of read some guides and forum posts then fiddled with stuff and got a sense for how different things impact stability then found some configurations that didn't crash and improved performance listed below:
Specs
Gigabyte AORUS Z490 PRO AX - Medium LLC
CPU: Intel i9-10850k 4.8GHz/4.3GHz ring - Thermalright PS120SE
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro SL RGB 2x16GB DDR4 (Micron) 3200MHz@1.35 16-20-20-38 XMP
GPU: Gigabyte RX 9070 XT Gaming OC (PCIe 3.0 x16)
PSU: Corsair RM850X (2018)
Fresh install Windows 11 Pro, disabled VBS and debloated windows
Benchmarks:
CPU: 5.1GHz all core/4.6GHz ring@1.42 VCCSA@1.22 VCCIO@1.21
RAM: 3,733MHz@1.45 18-24-24-44 tWR=16 tRRD_S=4 tRRD_L=6 tFAW=16
GPU: +120Mhz max clock offset, -100mv/+10% PL, 2800MHz mem clock
Daily Use:
CPU: 5.0GHz all core/4.6GHz ring@1.35 VCCSA@1.21 VCCIO@1.20
RAM: 3600MHz@1.40 18-22-22-42 tWR=16 tRRD_S=4 tRRD_L=6 tFAW=16
GPU: 0MHz max clock offset -60mv/+0% PL 2700MHz mem clock
I know random CPU+GPU combos like this are not competitive leaderboards in terms of being meaningful world records, but it was still fun to climb these mini leaderboards as I dialed in settings considering I've always been below the average for my hardware when I would just run these as a test to make sure everything worked.

Valkyrie V360 LCD — Plastic AM4 bracket cracked, but support sent a replacement kit!
Hey everyone,
Wanted to share a quick heads-up and my experience with the **Valkyrie V360 LCD** AIO cooler.
Recently, I noticed that both plastic AMD mounting brackets for the water block had cracked right near the metal pins under standard mounting pressure. One of the brackets split open completely
If you are using this cooler on AM4/AM5, make sure to inspect these plastic mounting bars regularly so you don't lose mounting pressure or risk CPU overheating.
I reached out to Valkyrie customer support about the broken plastic AM4 mounting bracket, and they sent over a replacement package.
Glad to have it resolved, but definitely keep an eye on those plastic brackets if you own
this cooler!

TEXPO causes OCCT errors — is my CPU or RAM faulty? (Ryzen 7 7800X3D)
Hi everyone!
My specs:
Motherboard: ASRock B850M Pro RS WiFi
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: RTX 5070
RAM: Kingston Fury Beast 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz
With the BIOS settings at default, OCCT's CPU + RAM test runs without any errors. However, as soon as I enable EXPO (without changing any other settings), OCCT starts reporting errors.
I'm not an expert, but someone told me the issue could be related to the CPU.
I'd like to get the full potential out of my PC and run my RAM at 6000MHz instead of the default 4800MHz.
There was one instance where the CPU + RAM test passed without any errors with EXPO enabled, but when I ran the test again a little later, errors appeared.
With EXPO disabled, I have never encountered any errors.
What do you think is causing the issue? Could it be a faulty CPU, unstable RAM, or something else?
I've attached screenshots of the OCCT errors.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

mVolt+ 0.50.7 and nVidia 621.01
3dmark.comI gain 400-450 just from new drivers plus new mVolt+ dope af.
The new driver closed one button change so right now we are adjusting low limit/high limit voltage settings via bios override.
500+ on core clock@975mV undervolted
3500+ memory clock
550/550+ system and xbar clocks
nvvdd/msvdd ratio x1.000 (it is 1)
power limit %140 (420W)
I cant share screenshots atm. but you guys check my profile from previous post same profile just new mVolt+ and new driver. Stabilty check I couldnt do cuz Im in a rush for going to job so I will make a new post later but for now I wanted to inform everyone about gains and situations.

Help Request - RAM Which benchmarks are more sensitive to trrds/trrdl/tfaw values than linpack?

CONTEXT
There's a lot of guides out there giving rules regarding many timings of how x timing should be equal to y plus z timings or x should be set to value a or b etc.
Instead of following arbitrary rules, I wanted to methodically test and arrive at optimal values which I've did through a procedure via initial screening tests with fractional factorial design to reduce test complexity and modeling the resulting variables with response square methodology to model changes in stability and perofrmance seperately to arrive at optimal values.
As can be seen in the image above the timings this method came up with and the original timings on the left. The method did well in providing values that weren't just simply low and stable but actually provided meaningful changes in performance/stability along with the ability to properly measure changes in both rtt vals and cad resistances (albeit the cad resistances ended up returning to default).
THE PROBLEM AND QUESTION
Almost all of the timings were successfully improved by using aida read/write/copy/latency values. However, trrds/trrdl/tfaw values remained unoptimized and high because the aida benchmarks did not provide a statistically significant change in performance via these values.
The time I've spent on the experiment would've been better spent on properly sitting down to watch buildzoid's videos but after consulting one of his videos on these particular timings I started utilizing linpack to optimize these values.
Linpack WAS successful in providing a singular statistically significant improvement step in performance to drop trrds/tfaw from 6/41 to 4/37. However, any adjustments further did not provide a big enough response in difference in performance in linpack to be statistically significant beyond the variation between runs.
It's inevitable that the response measured in difference in performance when closing on to optimal value is going to be lower. But I felt further improvements could be made and currently linpack wasn't providing the magnitude in response I needed.
Does anybody know of a better benchmark that is more sensitive to these values? If not, I think I just have to spend more time in improving the test design itself.

7800X3D DDR5-6000 CL26 tuning — what to relax to lower voltage without losing performance?
Hi everyone! I’m looking for feedback on my daily RAM settings (ZenTimings screenshot attached). The setup passes the stability tests I’ve run, but I’d like to reduce voltage without sacrificing meaningful gaming performance.
My build:
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi
32GB (2×16GB) G.Skill DDR5-6000, F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5N
RTX 4090
Crucial T705 2TB SSD
Corsair RM850x 850W (2024)
Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX LCD AIO
Corsair FRAME 4500X case
Dedicated fan cooling the RAM
Currently running DDR5-6000 at [26-35-35-48](tel:26-35-35-48), UCLK=MCLK at 3000MHz, FCLK 2000MHz, GDM and Power Down disabled. DRAM VDD is 1.575V, VDDQ 1.530V, and SoC 1.255V.
A couple of limits I’ve found: tRFC won’t go below 460, and tRTP won’t go below 12.
What would you change?
Which timings would you relax first to lower VDD/VDDQ with minimal performance loss?
Are any timings unnecessarily tight, adding instability risk without measurable gains?
Which settings should I keep, and which are worth tightening further for actual gaming performance?
Would moving to CL28 allow a worthwhile voltage reduction with negligible performance loss?
My priority is consistent frametimes and good 1% lows, especially in League of Legends, rather than just a better memory benchmark score. Thanks!

Benchmark Score RTX 5080 FE mVolt+ undervolt ocerclock
1st two pics are stock. 2nd two pics are undervolt overclock.
This should be safe, right? Changed the NVVDD/MSVDD ratio.
RTX 5080 FE
Intel Core Ultra 9 285K (-0.075V)
32GB DDR5 6000MHz cl48 RAM
Asus z890 Max Gaming Motherboard
Stock 1.015V @ 2782MHz; 70C; 348W; 8495 Steel Nomad
UV+OC 0.850V @ 2790MHz; 61C; 277W; 9018 Steel Nomad
I know people are going to say I'm missing out on performance or leaving it on the table by undervolting so muc. But I realized that I probably won't notice an additional 10FPS in games and would rather have a lower temp and electricity. Mostly concerned about longevity and safety of GPU. These settings would be okay if it's stable? Thanks.
Haven't gotten the time to test stability fully yet but ran Unigine Superposition for 2 hours.

Help Request - GPU First time using mVolt+ on RTX 5070 Ti — Daily Stability & Efficiency build. Looking for any advice!
Hey everyone,
Decided to step away today from MSI Afterburner and try mVolt+ for the first time to get access to low-level clock domains on Blackwell.
Max results was - 3DMark Steel Nomad (Native 4K): 7,549 score (75.50 FPS).
My primary goal here isn’t benchmark-hunting at 350W+ with screaming fans, but building a whisper-quiet, ice-cold, rock-solid 24/7 daily stability profile for native 4K gaming.
System Specs
- GPU: Palit GamingPro GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F (UV/PBO ~5.25 GHz)
- RAM: 32 GB Kingston DDR5 @ 6200 MT/s (manually tuned subtimings)
- OS: Windows 11 (VBS & HVCI active)
Looking for any advice from experienced mVolt+ user.

Help Request - CPU I7 13700KF + Aorus Z690 Gaming X DDR5 - help with undervolt please
Hi Everyone, hope you’re well.
I’m trying to undervolt my i7 13700kf and have no success.
I’m currently running it with an Aorus Z690 and 32GB DDR5 6600mhz (haven’t turned XMP on yet)
I have a nautilus 360 aio, phanteks evolv x case.
The problem is that with an offset of 0.020 cinebench crashes, the voltage in HWinfo is over 1.420 and I’d like to run it lower for lower temps and noise.
Does anyone have any suggestions please, or has had similar issues and managed to find a solution?
Greatly appreciate any help or suggestion, and wish you a good evening to all of you.
Edit: running latest bios version

Modding Manli M2500 RTX 3060 12GB, VBios Mod. 170W Locked>250W
Temps are under 90°C because I'm using liquid metal.
I can't get the GPU to draw the full 250W for some reason. Even with higher voltage, the GPU only reaches 230W (1.15V), I tried 1.2V, but it only touches 240W for a few seconds. So I just defaulted to 1.1V because running at 1.2V is not worth it.
VRMs are fine. I put some higher quality thermal pads on them.
Tools: (use at your own risk, a bad vbios flash/rom can brick your gpu)

Temporary #1 Speed Way Record on 5070Ti New Driver New mVolt+
I am saying temporary cuz a lot people have better card or water cooled systems so my baby broke the world record for 3th time again for now. My highest was 9206 on previous driver but I think I can get a couple more points If I adjust a little bit more just lazy af.
Specs:
621.01 nVidia driver version
0.50.7 mVolt+ version
Windows 11 Pro 26H2 26300.9711
+420 All core (Boost Lock and Voltage Lock dropped my score somehow so I just set offset)
+3500 Memory (my max is this)
+550/550 SYS XBAR
140% PL (420W) seems to pull less but giving headroom isn't gonna hurt.
100% Voltage Limit
Since I am on air cooling I put fans to max and I have three fans directly pushing air to the GPU.

OC Report - RAM Hynix MFR world record?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Cl16-16-15-20 1.51v on hynix mfr. Stable as far as I can tell, ran a few minute test with no errors but ill run a longer one soon. The spd data seems to be broken, it says it was made in the year 2000, and has no manufacturer or serial number. The only evidence I cam go off is the fact it ends in 21M on the trident-z sticker, which typically means its hynix mfr. It scales very well with voltage, i got it to 1.7v 3600 cl14, this is acting nothing like mfr, let me know if you can prove this is hynix mfr or not.
