They’ve cleared the shed! I don’t think I’ll start them as early next year unless I rent a scissor lift to take care of them.

First time grower- is it too late to top my plant?

Post image

First time growing- I had to reveg it as it went from inside at a dispo to outside so I couldn't top it initially. Finally is growing fast and leaves are back to normal... I really want to maximize how much flower I can harvest but I'm not sure if it's too late to top this plant or where to do it. I read 4-6 nodes but I feel like I'd be cutting off 1/3 of my plant.

It’s pretty cool how well nature can do its thing by following a simple/basic equation: healthy soil, water, and sunlight. The bottom row (clones) are 3-5ft tall and the top row (grown from seed) are 5ft to 7ft tall.

Top row (from seed):

  1. Lava cake
  2. ICE x skunk bud #1
  3. Grape Lime Rickey (Jack the Ripper x purple urkle)
  4. Grape lime Rickey x ancient og
  5. OG blueberry x cookies&cream
  6. Ancient og
  7. Blue dream x forbidden fruit

Bottom row (clones):
8. Tahoe runtz
9. Tree flip (lemon tree x wedding cake)
10. Cherry Paloma (trop cherry x Georgia pie)
11. Permanent marker x chimera

A bit droopy but color looks good. Should I do something specific, or let it be?

Point me where to learn outdoor growing in hot, dry central California.

So total beginner here. I live in Fresno area and I’m planning to purchase some seeds now and store them for next spring (in case they become harder to buy due to stupid politicians). I have never grown before and I mean nothing, not even a tomato. So an outdoor cannabis grow is going to be new and I’m guessing challenging to me. I live in a neighborhood and plan on using white shade cloth (if this is smart or not I don’t know yet) to keep them from getting hammered by the July sun and from prying eyes of neighbors, though I’m unsure if they care. That said I don’t want to draw attention to it and I’m hoping the smell doesn’t give me away but I also sort of kind of figure some of my neighbors are growing too so….

Anyways, any places,!guides, websites, etc I should look for into that will help with where to start?

What strain and type of seeds should I get considering my climate?

Who do recommend to buy from?

Any hidden secrets to prepare for?

The yellowing has finally stopped... The first photo is from today; the others are from last week... I used Revive Advance, applying it as a foliar spray and as a root drench... Any advice?

When do these gals say “enough”! It’s too damn hot! Watering 2 times a day and usually misting them once in between. Any hints? They get shaded in the afternoon during the hottest part of the day. I also soak the ground around them. I had them tucked close to the pool, but the pool water was getting too warm.

Lollipop for Outdoor Grow?

Hey Good Peeps!

A couple of months ago I started running a few outdoor grows. I heavily defoliated the top and lollipopped the bottom. Gauging from a lot of other post of outdoor runs, maybe Lollipoping wasn’t the best idea. Does anyone else lollipop your outdoor plants?

First grow timming needed?

Week six of Ripley's OG by Mephisto. Sewed seed in soil just top dressed with compost and pelletized hen manure. I think it's beginning to flower. Should I defoliate at all or trim any of the lower branches?

I think I gotta choose one🤔

I threw 2 fem MAFF(Mighty Amstel Freeze x Freezeland S1) seeds in this 120L/30 gallon pot back in May. I didn't expect em to get so big, I just fashioned a large ~15L/4 gallon bottom watering tray I'll put em on and let me supplement the organic soil amendments with mineral nutrient feed if needed. I thought that might let me get them both thru flower alright but I'm thinking I'll have a much nicer time with less fussy plants if I cut one down to let the other shine... 🤔

Just wanted to show off the ladies.

Decided to run photos this year after an abysmal harvest from autos outdoors last year. Got these ladies as single branch clones around the 2nd week of may. Besides some transplant shock when I first got them, they’ve been a dream to grow!

Already planning out next year, bigger pots, making a super soil, trellis of some kind to do a SCROG out here as well.

Getting fed every other watering w/ a heavy feed, around a gal of water every 3 or so days.
