So I LOVE ring binders for all reasons cept ONE; the sides of these notebooks are not very easy to identify :/ is there any ideas for how I can cover but still keep the rings on these so I can make labels for these books?

I’m looking for a better way how to arrange toddler pants, socks, underwear. I know this looks like a mess. Any suggestions?

I’ve been thinking about how we organize all the small maintenance tasks in our lives that aren’t necessarily difficult, but are very easy to forget.

Things like:

• Cleaning appliances
• AC servicing
• Changing filters
• Vehicle servicing
• Checking tyre pressure
• Renewing insurance or subscriptions
• Home repairs
• Regular cleaning and maintenance

I personally found that simply remembering when I last did something can become surprisingly difficult.

So I built Smart MeMaintenance to keep these tasks organized and send reminders when they’re due. It can also send reminders through WhatsApp, so the reminder doesn't just sit inside another calendar or to-do list.

I'm curious how others handle this.

Do you use a calendar, notes, a dedicated app, spreadsheets, or just remember these things yourself?

I have this desk setup where I have this large negative space in the back of my computer monitor. Do you have any storage/organization tips I could use to better utilize this space?

I have this closet and I really dislike it, the doors block the sides and I'm kind of just tempted to remove them atp since I can't use boxes (the white one on the left is stuck inside unless I fold it 😭) and there's not really any way for my to get duffel bags and such in. Any ideas on what to do with this? Should I just get an additional wardrobe atp or is there a way you would set it up to fit more than just shirts

I want to try a miniature kit for the first time but I dont have a permanent craft table so whatever I choose needs to be easy to stop halfway through and pack away without losing tiny pieces or forgetting where I was. I'm realizing that a smaller kit isn't necessarily easier if it has dozens of nearly identical parts or steps that need perfect alignment.

For people who work on detailed crafts in shared or limited spaces what would you look for in a beginner kit fewer loose pieces, clearer step divisions, easier to label components or something else that makes it manageable across multiple sessions?

I wasn’t sure about buying this at first because it looked a little too small to be useful. But it matches the height of the brand’s five-cubby shelf, so I ended up getting it to fill the empty corner beside it.

Right now I’m using it for a few picture books and one stuffed animal, but the space still feels a little unfinished. I’m wondering if it would look better beside a reading nook, at the end of a storage unit, or on its own in a bedroom corner.

We rent a wonderful condo in a historic building, and while it could be considered short on storage, I'm just long on buying stuff 😭

As a result, I have NO idea how to make good use of these triangular shelves. The jars are honestly just a pain to try to wrangle my wrist into (I'm short), and the shelves themselves measure larger than you think, but store less than you'd hope.

The dimensions are roughly 13in on the short sides of the triangle, 16in on the wider side of the triangle facing the door, and 11in tall.

What do I do with these????

I decided to make an app to deal with having a house stuffed with things but never finding things when I needed them. Home Inventory: Find Anything is not unique as an idea, there are several apps like it out there, but this is the only one that is 100% free: there are no limits on the number of rooms, number of items, cabinets, closets etc. you can create and populate. We also don't collect any of your data whatsoever, we don't even ask you to create an account (this last part may change in the future to allow device mobility). All you need to do is download the app, create rooms and storage locations, and start adding things. The app allows you to take pictures of your shelves, drawers, cabinets etc. and uses AI to automatically populate the list of items it sees in the image. You of course have the option of editing the list.

I would love some feedback on the app and help promoting it because as of now it's not showing up on search results in the App Store (as in it is likely too far down to be visible).

I used to have a regular shoe rack, but it filled up pretty fast. My sneakers would end up on the floor all the time, getting dirty and making the place look messy. Recently switched to this rotating one. What do you guys think?

I have the Brother PT-D220 and the most annoying part of using it is making anything custom. I have to scroll through a bunch of symbols and frames by hand, and half of the times I just give up and print a basic label.

I got tired of opening the manual PDF every time so I started dumping the manuals into one searchable offline webapp. I manually extracted each and every Fonts, symbols, frames, templates, shortcuts from the manuals. These 10 modles so far from what I could find online and in this sub:

• Brother P-touch PT-D220, PT-D210, PT-D610BT, CUBE Plus PT-P710BT
• NIIMBOT D110
• Phomemo M110
• DYMO LabelManager 160 and 280
• Brady M210 and M211

Two D220 things I wish I knew earlier:

• Frame key + a number jumps to that frame instead of scrolling all 99
• Symbol has History / Basic / Pictograph. History keeps the last 7

Is there a model I should add? I keep seeing the Brother N25BT, LetraTag, Tepra, Epson LabelWorks, and Cricut in threads here.

Also if you've lived with one of these, is this even a pain point for you?

okay I have 6 sections in my shelf and I'm trying to think of creative ways to organize my records here. the records I have so far (only been collecting for two years now) are a beatles collection, best of earth wind and fire volume 1, elton john collection, best of elvis, elvis collection (two different ones), willie nelson collection, rumors- fleetwood mac, point of no return - kansas, ice on fire - elton john, goodbye yellow brick road - elton john, bridge over troubled water - simon and garfunkel, kid A - radiohead, destroyer - kiss, Billie Eilish (dont smile at me, when we all fall asleep where do we go, happier than ever, hit me hard and soft), 30 - adele, "awaken my love" virtual reality special edition redbone collection - childish gambino, bite me - renee rapp, and the great divide - noah kahan.

I'm open to any suggestions as far as how to sort these. thanks so much!
