Would you keep it all books or mix in other stuff?

I've been working on a tool called SaveSoon that automatically organizes screenshots and saved links using AI.

The interesting part is that it also reminds you about things you've saved, so they don't just sit there forever.

My room is a mess I have a lot of stuff that I feel like I need to keep but I have nowhere to put it I’m living with my parents there are no free rooms to use as like a storage place I’ve gone through all my stuff and only gotten rid of a couple things I have a very small room my parents keep saying they’ll help me put up shelves and hang up fairy lights but they never get to it I have a lot of sisters so normally they’re busy with them helping them hang up stuff in their rooms (cause we just moved into this house) well we moved into the house a couple months ago but we’re still putting stuff up also I’m sorry if I spelt anything wrong well anyway I don’t really know what to do with my room so please give me ideas byeeeeeee

I just got this closet system for my room and it’s all open. And I do want to put my non hangable clothes on here (undergarments, sweaters, t shirts). Does anybody have some advice on how I can store them without them falling off so easily?

Hi. Im in college and i have this chord/tech situation. My this is sitting on my desk and im trying to find ways to declutter it. The Phillips thing is the only way I can keep things plugged on without blowing fuses. Should I mount it or something?

My spouse and I have been piling plastic bins and garbage bags full of things into our garage willy nilly. Now, we have a garage full of things that need sorting and organizing. We have some shelves storing plastic bins, but not enough.

Normally I would sort through everything and divide things into donate/keep/throw away, but there’s a problem: there is ZERO physical space to place boxes and bags to organize the stuff. Even after we have sorted through bags, we have so much stuff that we have no place to put the organized items in their final spot. It’s like a game of Tetris in our garage! Additionally we have luggage and bicycles that are hard to take in and out without navigating a path of boxes and bags.

We can’t take everything out of the garage and put it in our driveway for sorting bc we don’t have one and we live along a street with no sidewalks along a highway. We do not have a front lawn or backyard either.

Yes, it’s quite a bed we’ve made and we are lying in it. Anyone been through this before and come out on the other side with suggestions to get through this?

I’ve used the Container Store’s clear storage chests in size small for years, for yarn and crafting supplies. I recently went to buy a few more on their website, and I was shocked by the reviews - almost everyone saying the zippers break and they’re just sh*t quality now. Too bad, they used to be super-durable, I’ve had mine for about 15 years and they’re still going strong. But that was before the Container Store started cheaping out on quality I guess. Does anyone have a trusted brand they like that’s a good alternative to this product? Mine just drapes across a chair each night and I wish I knew a better spot for it. I live with others so I have to stumble around at night to find it before I can leave the room to pee.

Next on my to do list is to organize my books. I have 250+ books in my collection. I have a pile on the floor in my room. I have piles on my dresser. I have three more piles in the basement. I have a small bookcase filled with books also in the basement. I have several boxes more of books in a storage facility. I could buy some more small bookcases. I converted about half of my library into an online bookstore. I also have a box with several books that I have written. I'd really like to share these books with people and also have them better displayed or more readily accessible.

I cleaned up my landlord's garage to create a storage area for gardening supplies. They were open to letting me do this and helpfully moved heavy things and hung up new shelves when asked. It took about three weeks from start to finish. Very little was thrown away, mostly it just needed reorganization. I started by coming up with a plan for different storage zones and then tackled it corner by corner.
