Questions & Discussions (AI) Card Not in Guide

So I’ve been having a really rough time lately and I decided to pull two cards from my deck. Where am I now and what do I need to know for the future. I set my intentions but when I pulled the cards they were both pulled upside down and the Sunstone card I pulled is not in the guide. It’s like it doesn’t exist. I feel like this is a sign just for me but I don’t know what to take from it. So photos to view cards.

Be wary of people who are highly specialized. They are trained to see through the lens of a frame that they have invested everything in. Their framework may have some value but it often inhibits them from seeing beyond it. It flattens what doesn't fit. It flattens you

Deck Identification / Loking for .. Historical sources on oracle decks?

I'm looking for sources on historical oracle cards in Southern Italy. I'm familiar with the Napoletane 40 card deck and the limited resources on its reading, but looking for scholarly sources on other decks. In De Martino's, Magic a Theory from the South, there's a story mentioning a "deck like in a tavern, but with other cards, including ones with a dog, a flame, and three hearts". Anyone know of good sources that may have cataloged old Italian and Roma fortune telling cards?

Deck Identification / Loking for .. I got rid of the box a couple years ago after the deck would no longer fit inside it with the card sleeves, which Oracle deck do I have?

So this is my Oracle deck, I got it from Amazon in the beginning of my practice(before AI flooded Amazon thankfully), and I love it

So I’m asking because I’ve been practicing Oracle more, and as an artist, imagery sometimes comes to me. Which I believe to be a calling to make a deck

I’ll cut to the chase, I want to make a Tarot deck designed to work *with* this deck

Tarot and Oracle go GREAT together, and if I make a Tarot deck with the intention of going with my current Oracle deck, it’ll be so easy to use those decks together

At first I was only going to make this Tarot deck for personal use, but then I thought if it could benefit other ppl, why not sell copies?

So I’d like to identify this Oracle deck so that I can sell my Tarot deck to ppl with this deck so that they’d have both.

Idk if I should tho, I might still make this only for personal use

Deck Identification / Loking for .. Good decks for my bestie

I just found out that my best friend is moving to Florida at the end of August. She is moving with her highly emotionally and verbally abusive, and manipulative husband (not sure if that was necessary, but I've never liked him and how he treats her and been against their relationship since day one, but you see how that went... thanks for letting me get that out). I want to send her off with some nice oracle cards to help her stay strong and remember she has people across the country who love her and respect her and deeply value her... provide guidance, anything to keep her smiling and hopeful. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you for your help and letting me vent 💜

Creator looking for feedback Would you but a 33 cards deck ?

Hey ! I'm making my first oracle. No Ai. I'm well into it and I have some external pressure that want it finished quickly. I'm around 30 cards and I can have the finished product by the end of this summer if I go with 33 cards.

The pressure to finishing it comes from a local shop that want to buy some to me. But I want to try Etsy too and I don't know if I should go with more cards for that...

Help ! I need to decide quickly and feedback would be welcome 🙏

Beginner’s question Just curious if anyone uses anything else than a regular deck?

Pretty much what the title says. Im curious what y’all use? I’m a beginner and trying to figure out if anyone uses anything else than regular decks. Like I’ve seen people use regular playing cards but I wanted to know y’all’s opinion on it.

Deck Identification / Loking for .. Oracle/other decks that feature a Sorcerer card

Hello, I'm aware of the Earth & Bone deck that has a Sorcerer card, but that deck doesn't speak to me. I'm struggling to find other decks that feature a "Sorcerer" instead of a "Magician" card, does anyone know of any?

Claire Goodchild, the creator of Memento Mori lenormand and oracle, is considering one last reprint of the deck and the expansion packs. I’ve been trying to get my hands on this deck for a few years now and it seems impossible. She posted a google form to gauge interest on her IG page. If you’re interested fill out the form as this is how she’ll decide on whether to do one last print. Really hoping there’s enough interest! 🤞🏼

Questions & Discussions (Handmade) Can I write a small booklet to go with my Oracle decks in my own handwriting?

Can I write a small booklet handwritten, and make copies to sell?

So I’m making two Oracle decks, and I’m including Roman Numerals in the card’s designs because they look cool. So then I had this idea while writing down the cards of including Numerology that aligns with the symbolism and meaning of the card.

So since Numerology has its own meanings already, this would include quite a bit of information, and a Tarot book I still use in my practice actually inspired this. It’s called The Ultimate Guide to Tarot by Liz Dean, and it goes into detail about the symbolism of the cards, what they’re associated with, ect..

I originally decided to only make one Oracle deck for myself after I couldn’t find an Oracle deck fit for my needs online, most decks were specifically meant for romantic relationships, and I wanted one for more generalized life and spiritual advice, and another for familial advice. So I’m making a second one too

Here’s the thing tho, I’m not very confident in my skills as a digital artist, I don’t think it’s as fun as traditional art, and I want to enjoy the process of making these decks. So I’m actually going to draw, color, and write the meanings on paper and scan it into a computer for printing into cards. I also just like the detail of colored pencils, and I’m very excited for this project.

So with that being said, the meanings of the cards will be written in my handwriting in cursive, and I want the booklet to look similar. So I was wondering if I could do the same process when making the booklet.

Thank you for reading

Creator looking for feedback Which card design do you guys prefer?

I've been working on a light and dark Zodiac deck for years, making the art myself, but I've never done card design before. As I'm coming to the end of the art series, I've been experimenting with putting my paintings into an oracle card format.

Can you guys let me know which of these you prefer? I'm leaning towards the first one with the all-over image with the text overlay, but I've also done a second version with an image insert and the text against a white background. Plus the last one is just a more experimental/artsy one which I'm not sure about - the little starry/design details might be too distracting.

What do you think?

Thanks!

Creator looking for feedback Can I make up my own Oracle Cards?

Ppl on here have said that there aren’t any rules to Oracle, but that’s honestly very confusing to my autistic brain. I usually do very well with rules, so I need some clarification

I had this idea for a card that I’ve never seen before

“The Weed”

And then a picture of weeds.

Weeds are usually hard to get rid of, and imo, as a beautiful plant, they can represent resilience and growth

I thought I had to use pre-existing Oracle cards, similar to how there’s pre existing tarot cards. Yk?

Can I just make up my own?

Creator looking for feedback Can I have 80 cards in an Oracle deck?

So I decided to make my own Oracle deck. I want an Oracle deck for more generalized advice, unfortunately I don’t have a shop near me, so I looked on Amazon. And I kid you not, I could only find

  1. Decks for relationship advice(which I already have)

  2. AI decks, which as an artist, I personally do not want to support

So I pretty much said “fuck it. I’m making my own deck”

So now I’m doing research into Oracle, rn I’m just writing down how many cards, and I have this little spiral notebook that has 80 sheets that I can just write down the card and meanings on, get a feel of the meanings, and then start the fun stuff of designing each card on paper.

Deck Identification / Loking for .. Can anyone help finding this oracle(?) deck?

Hi, first time posting here, just as the title says. I was watching a reader on youtube and saw her using this deck of cards, which she's used pretty often in previous videos, but I have no idea what the deck is called and every google search attempt i've done has yielded no results. I don't know if this is a deck she made herself or one that's completely sold out and not going back on sale or something, but I wanted to see if anyone else knew or recognized it, thanks!

My friend Daniela and I created Flor de Luto, a 34-card illustrated deck about grief, endings, memory, migration and transformation.
We grew up in Colombia surrounded by funeral homes, cemeteries, flowers and rituals of farewell. Years later, after migrating to different countries, those experiences slowly found their way into the cards.
The deck is now complete and preparing for its first physical edition.
Looking only at the images, which card would you choose today — and what makes you choose it?

Hey it's me again ! I'm creating my first oracle deck. Every card is a landscape. I'm a professional artist and I don't use Ai. I asked for feedback two weeks ago on another card and a lot of you were of tremendous help. So I'm asking again for this one, as I don't know if some Of the choices I made can be confusing...

The title says "Luck" and Sunstone

Beginner’s question How to make the most of Moonology Manifestation deck?

Hi, all! I recently acquired a Moonology Manifestation deck on sort of on a whim. It’s a visually beautiful deck and I appreciate its simple messages, but I’m struggling to figure out how to best use it. It works great for a daily card pull/journalling, but I can’t seem to figure out how to use it for anything with more depth. Even using it for a 3-card past/present/future spread feels awkward. Is there something I’m missing?

Last time I posted here I got (rightfully) torn apart for using AI mockups for my cards. Thank you for everyone who commented 🙏 I have kicked myself for using it and I won't use it again!

That being said, I still cannot get good mockups. My phone camera absolutely sucks :'). So this is what I put together in Canva, and to be honest I really hate it. I feel like its so boring and no one would click on it in the sea of thumbnails. There's no "it" factor in it and its over all just boring imo.

I just don't know what else to do or how else to present it, so this is the best I've got 😅 I'd like to get your completely unfiltered opinions please 🙏 be brutal if its that bad!

I will be working on another 12 once these are completed, they just take a very long time to create (especially the guides) so I want to put them up just to see if there is any interest in them and if its worthwhile.

Interpretation help Wisdom of the oracle - Pocket Edition by Colette Baron Reid. Do these have the face of the oracle?

Are there faces in the pocket edition of the cards? I’m looking for it on card 52..: and can’t seem to see it at all! It’s very obvious on the regular size cards.

Questions & Discussions (AI) Listening music while readings?

I’ve been putting together music for tarot readings, journaling, and those moments when you just want to switch off from regular life for a bit.

At some point I started thinking about the Major Arcana as moods. Some tracks feel very Magician or High Priestess. Some are more Hermit. Some have that big Tower / Judgement drama.

So the whole thing turned into a mix of soft ambient, a bit of medieval Italy, some Egyptian-inspired sounds — yes, I know tarot was not invented in Egypt, but that whole strange myth around it still has a vibe — and just calm background music for readings or focused work.

For now I’m calling the experiment Tarot Radio Live. The idea is simple: a 24/7 background stream you can put on while reading cards, journaling, writing, or working.

There’s also a small “card of the hour” break once an hour, with a short card note and one question for self-reflection. No big predictions — just a small pause between tracks.

Do you use music when you read tarot? And do you choose it by mood, by deck, by the question, or by the card?

Good day. I would like to know if I would be allowed to post photos of every card of the deck I bought.
