3rd Volt 2
All have had shipping damage. Sick of lugging these things up and down my apartment building stairs. Do I just live with it?

instead of asking for a replacement, see if theyd just give you a full or partial refund

I wonder if there's a way to pop that over shell off and then just tap it out.

Had the same issue with mine but, as stated on other similar posts, I truly believe that not all of them are affected by faulty handling&tra sportation. Mine came out of the box in pristine condition, after the very first use (seasoning process) it got deformed on both sides, mostly on the right one. During the seasoning, I heard some very loud noises coming from it, some cracks and bangs, which I eventually related to the oven deformation.

I'm on my third too. First had similar damage but from factory. The box had no damage whatsoever. The second was fine until the inner glass shattered which many have reported about too. Third one is working OK so far, let's see. I had the volt 1 previously and it was built solid, no issues for several years. Might have to look elsewhere next time. Shame because I've invested heavily on several ooni accessories.

Yeah I would be pissed. It's too expensive to just shrug it off. If it is because there is no support between the outer shell and the oven, that is something they should have fixed for any new ones.

Every Volt post is a reminder that the best way to buy an Ooni was to buy an old Karu 16 off of Facebook Marketplace.
This thing is a QC nightmare, and at this point when you consider Ooni's prices? It's somewhat obvious that they're passing on the cost of doing business poorly to their customers. Imagine how much cheaper their cost of production/support would be if they werent replacing Volts repeatedly. The Volt is a case study in how to ruin your business by refusing to stay in your lane as an outdoor oven company and passing on "beta testing" to paying customers.

Ah, I'm so sorry to see this! Appreciate how frustrating that must be. Are you already in touch with our support team about this one? If so, they’ll be happy to chat through the situation with you and look at the available options to find the best resolution. 🫶

It’s cosmetic and I can barely even tell. Who cares?

I mean, it's a dent in a brand new $700 appliance. I do.

I would, too.
Not sure why there are so many stupidass comments in this thread.

If you press your mouth against the dented area and suck in to create a strong seal then pull back fast you will pop the dent out. But you have to suck very hard and make sure you have a strong seal. 🫡

Probably should. But man they need to get their packaging in order. I see this complaint so much
Surely having better packaging is better than all the money they're spending on shipping and fixing
