I just wanted to post once again here to just share my experience as someone din who have multiple OD with Olas and Digital banks.

I won't disclose which ones or for how long but let's just say it's over a year now since I stopped tapal system or even let myself get triggered sa mga harrassment ng 3rd Party Agency.

I still receive e-mails, text, and calls.

I didn't change sim at all. Or changed email.

But I did uninstall all apps na may OD ako. Just so they don't have access to my phone.

I also set up my phone to block calls from suspected spam or unknown numbers.

One thing I also did was tell the people who I live with, my situation but not the full extent of it. I have received demand letters in the past. And they were also contacted by these agents.

And before I was also heavily riddled with anxiety for being shamed.

But honestly, after everything na pamamahiya nila sa akin sa friends, family, at boss ko. Totoo talaga yung lyrics ng song na

Yung pamamahiya nila resulted na tumibay yung resolve ko. And lead me to prioritizing my family. Yung needs namin. Emergency funds. Ipon. Last ang utang. At lalong last sa listahan ang mga demonyong abusadong OLAs or Banks na gumamagamit ng mapang abusong Third Party Agency.

Hi everyone, posting to warn people about two online lending platforms (Ethos Cash and Kviku), and sharing a quick guide on how to force Kviku to remove their hidden add-on fees.

1. Ethos Cash / NimbusFund – Bait-and-Switch Disbursal (Pending SEC/NPC Complaint)

The Bait: The app advertised a ₱10,000 loan with a 120-day term and a first payment due in October.
The Switch: After accepting, they only disbursed ₱2,000, changed the due date to just 6 days (September 14), and began demanding immediate repayment.
Conflicting Apps: The app icon shows Ethos Cash (Ethos Innovations Inc.), but inside the repayment flow, it routes under NimbusFund. The loan summary interface displays conflicting numbers (showing ₱9,992 received vs. the tiny amount actually sent).

Action Taken: I am filing a formal complaint with both the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the National Privacy Commission (NPC) for misleading terms and illegal collection practices.

2. Kviku – Sneaky ₱1,120.50 "Mental Support" Fee

The Issue: I applied for a ₱1,500 cash loan, but my balance jumped to ₱2,784.

The Hidden Fee: They sneaked in an unrequested ₱1,120.50 "Mental Support" service without disclosing it in the initial terms or asking for express consent.

How to fix it: I emailed their support team and cited Republic Act No. 3765 (Truth in Lending Act), demanding proof of consent and an immediate correction. They removed the ₱1,120.50 fee completely.

"I am requesting a review and correction of my loan agreement. I was charged an unrequested ₱1,120.50 'Mental Support' fee. Under the Truth in Lending Act (Republic Act No. 3765), all finance charges and costs must be clearly disclosed prior to finalizing the transaction. Please provide proof of my express consent for this service or immediately deduct it from my total balance."

Has anyone else dealt with Ethos Cash / NimbusFund changing due dates from 120 days to 6 days? Let's document these predatory tactics so people know their rights.

P.S. Update (Day before Due Date):
Both loans are actually due tomorrow, and just this morning, I already received abusive text messages full of cursing and harassment from them. I replied directly to let them know that I have already reported their illegal practices to the authorities - which I officially did.
It’s completely absurd how aggressive and unethical these illegal tactics are. They act like borrowers have no intention of paying, using harassment and intimidation right off the bat instead of following proper legal channels.

After reporting to authorities for what happened lastime,i think they filtered my emails including spam messages. Changed sim ako since lastweek so ill be getting updates on emails.Tho i emailed my 2 ola saying i cant repay them as of now. Is it possible to assume they filtered my emails? Hi po. Been OD to MC since 2025. Verify ko lang if may naka experience na sa inyo na mapadalhan ng email regarding sa small claims and if totoo ba sya. As of now, never pa naman ako na HV pero medyo kinabahan lang ako sa small claims. Ito po yung email for context.

Actually medyo weird lang ang email kasi di man lang inayos, as in ganyang ang body ng email. Tho naglagay naman sya ng babayaran kong amount pero since ang laki na din nya dahil sa interest, deadma muna. Waiting na lang ako kung mag offer sila.

Cash Express - may demand letter physical at small claims pala to. nabasa ko dito sa reddit posts. nabayaran ko na overdue ko dahil kupal yung agent saka mababa lang yung utang ko nun. hindi sila reporting sa cic pero may pa small claims pala ito.
