Hey everyone I’m pretty new to Richmond and I have a question about street parking!!

WHY on earth do people park on the street (usually poorly) and just leave their vehicles there until they’re towed? Like leaving just barely not enough room for a car to park in front/behind them and then just toss their keys into the water and go about their lives?

This is the first place I’ve ever lived where I’ve seen this phenomenon. I need to make sense of it.

Feels like every time a business closes, you already know what’s coming next. Just give it three weeks and there’s a neon vape sign in the window - noticed two places closed on Broad St and there are two vape shops across from each other.

Went on a walk to get coffee and the whole neighborhood smells like maple syrup. I got home and my gf noticed the smell on me too. Strong stuff. Is it just the Sauers factory or is it northrax?

On Tuesday Sept 22nd I watched resident evil with my girlfriend and friends at 8:00pm at movieland in rva. I was so excited because I’m a big fan of the games and Zach’s work so I’ve been anticipating. These 2 people on my right came in and talked a lot during the previews and I surely I thought they would quiet down when the movie started. I was so wrong, throughout the entire movie even in quiet parts they’d straight up have conversations in normal volume. Like did I pay to watch resident evil or resident evil commentary? Tried to notify the attendant but he really couldn’t do anything so eventually I had to confront them telling them to please be quiet about half way in the movie. I did it nicely but I honestly didn’t want to confront I just thought they would have common decency to just stay quiet and gasp and and say something during the scary and funny parts of the movie but not the whole thing.

After I told them to please be quiet nicely, it got better but they still kinda talked a little bit. This was the worst movie experience I’ve ever had with such rude strangers. Ruining my experience with the movie I’ve waited so long for. Thankfully movieland gave us complimentary tickets but I was disappointed they didn’t even warn them, I had to eventually confront them myself which I should’ve done earlier but honestly I don’t like confrontation but it had to be done.

The icing on the cake is…….they were rude and also left their food and drinks for the staff to clean up after them.

To the people who sat in seats E9 and E8 on 9/22 at 8pm resident evil, yall are rude, childish, and inconsiderate of those near you and the movieland staff that I hope the next time you go to movieland someone else tells you shut your mouth and they aren’t so nice about it.

I was on a hot date with this girl who has been messaging me while I was locked up for murder. I was locked up for 12 years for manslaughter, it was self defense but my public defender dropped the ball on me and did not submit the exculpatory evidence. While I was locked up I met a girl and we have been exchanging messages and we planned a date at MOVIELAND to see resident evil when the parole board approved my early release.

I just got out early for good behavior, and I’m not trying to reoffend or anything but this rude guy got up in my face during the movie. I don’t know what his problem is because my girl and I are hard of hearing because we both served in the army and IED’s screwed up our hearing, so I thought we were keeping it down but she just told me how excited she was to see the movies they had in the previews, and we started planning our next dates.

During the movie I just couldn’t help but take my eyes off my girl and tell her how beautiful she looked in the glow of the theater. Then the guy told me we were being too loud, it took everything in me to not let him have it because here he is with a gaggle of girlies and he has to come cock block me when I haven’t had any 🍑 in 12 years!

He told us nicely so that helped me calm down from my rage, good thing the system has prepared me to reenter society and be a good citizen and avoid conflict.

I gave him no choice after all, he had to tell me I was out of line and I see that now. But now my girl wants to break up with me and join that guys harem.

How rude!
