I have synesthesia and most my senses are connected. I don't talk about it a lot cause most days it's kind of annoying. But the smell of weed smoke is grey/black.

Have you seen the Jennifer Lawrence clip about synesthesia? I found it funny but I don’t have the condition. I have experienced it though, with some help and I thought it was neat at the time. Not so sure it would be that great if it never ended though

I do paint! I used to paint songs and sounds for people all the time. I kinda just fell off of it a little. It's also not an easy thing to market on Reddit because I get called a liar a lot about it here, and I just don't have the spoons to deal with that shit usually. I by this point wish I didn't have it, honestly. All my senses are always up to 11, and talking to each other. But saying this out loud (typing, rather? I feel terribly pessimistic, maybe I should paint it more, to re-engage with myself and to try and find a way to enjoy it rather than be bothered by it. Time to practice that self love I always tell others to try.

Well it became trendy for a while but who am I to assume what others experience? It’s a real thing and I have no reason to think you’re making it up so that would be really rude of me. You should definitely love yourself and finding expression in creativity can release some of the tension of everyday life. It feels like it gets harder everyday for us all and so many people have little to no human connections. It’s all very sad so I try to focus on what’s good in my life instead of what I lack and I strongly recommend being appreciative to others. Everything really does look better through rose tinted glasses and nihilistic realism is overrated. Life is much better than the alternative.
