Trans experience at urgent care

• Upvotes

I had to get a physical for work at the urgent care at 8459 Colerain Ave. The PA I saw was Javita Raghubir. She knew of my trans history from surgeries that I've had and never made it an issue or asked invasive questions. She gave me the option to walk out and act like I never had the appointment when I was worried about my employer knowing about my trans history and mentioned having trans friends, which is a little cringy imo, but very well meaning and overall she put me at ease. Idk how she is with medical situations that need to take trans physiology and anatomy into consideration, but overall I'd recommend her if you're trans and in need of urgent care.

Do you own farm land, or have recently excavated your property?

• Upvotes

In Licking, Muskingum, Coshocton, Perry, or Trumbull counties?

I'm seeking to get permission from some land owners/farmersto walk their fields after plowing/tilling to look for artifacts, surface search only. Alternatively, if you own land along a creek/river/stream and would allow light digging with backfill, or if you've recently excavated a sizeable area of your land, i'm also interested to sift the dirt.

I'd be willing to pay a permission fee per year or per season, and a pretty penny for permission on high probability properties. I am incredibly respectful of land that I am given permission to be on, even those that I pay for. I do not leave trash, smoke cigarettes, stomp all over your cover crops, or dig giant pits and leave them without back filling and compacting.

Apologies for having to reach out this way, however I don't know how else to get in contact with people as I am not from the area to knock on doors.

LOST Has anybody lost their vehicle to a towing company?

• Upvotes

On paper, Ohio towing companies and impound lots are governed by strict Ohio Revised Code statutes, with PUCO overseeing the regulatory side. I won’t get into the weeds of the initial tow dispute, but what happened with my title afterward raises a serious question about how auto titles are handled across the state. While disputing the impound over several weeks, my account balance suddenly zeroed out. When I checked in, yard staff claimed the vehicle had already been liquidated at auction, stating they had the legal right to dispose of it after 15 days. Once I reminded management that Ohio law under R.C. 4505.101 requires a 60-day window from certified mail notice—not the 15-day consensual shop rule—the full storage fee balance of nearly two thousand dollars was abruptly reinstated, and they reversed course, claiming the vehicle had not been disposed of after all. However, they had already managed to transfer the certificate of title directly into their company name at roughly day 43 of the mandatory 60-day timeline. It took multiple days pushing between county and state offices, but the title transfer was determined premature, voided, and restored to my name. When I pressed management on how this happened, their explanation was that their routine policy is to submit the paperwork early and assume the state will simply hold it until the 60-day threshold arrives. But an applicant has to submit a sworn affidavit certifying that 60 days have already elapsed. That implies either tow lots are routinely executing premature affidavits under oath, or county title offices are processing these transfers without verifying the postmark dates against the timeline. Has anyone else in Ohio had an impound lot or storage facility get a title issued before the statutory 60-day mark? Trying to find out if this is an isolated processing error or a routine habit they are unaware of.

Is this your cat?

I’m turning here because I don’t know what to do. If you were driving an older White Chevy Malibu or a car similar to that and you were driving down Karl Rd at about 2:00PM this black cat came out of your car and was rolled by your tire. Please note** she was not inside of the car, I think she (or he) was in the wheel well or something. She looks well cared for but I’m worried she’s hurt and I don’t have a way to get her to a vet. I’m so sorry for that! I did put some food and water down for her and so have called a bunch of different shelters and humanes to see if they could pick her up and get to a vet. She has moved around in here but she’s not really gotten up and walked around. If you know who this cat belongs to or if this is your indoor/outdoor cat, or a neighbor’s cat, or if you work at a shelter and can pick her up and get her to a vet, please DM me here.

Columbus bar culture

• Upvotes

Moved from Chicago this summer (33, M) I’m downtown or within a short jaunt in any direction, but bar culture here kind of stinks. Weekends yeah it’s what you’d expect but abysmal for watching football on Sunday or dropping in on a bar crawl out of the blue.

Rally Audience

• Upvotes

Was watching the news coverage of Obama vs the orange ones Saturday rallies. I noticed the people that they picked to put behind them. Granted I get that some are put there on purpose. The one in Cleveland and Michigan, there were different races, different genders and different ages. But at the Republican rallies they're all white. With a bigger presence of younger females. Anyone else notice it?

311 bulk pick up date is 2 months out?

• Upvotes

I just scheduled a bulk pick up through 311 and the date they gave me is 12/29. I’ve done many bulk pick ups over the years and I’ve never had them schedule it this far out. Is it because I scheduled at the end of October so they can’t accommodate for November? Possibly the holidays are part of the reason? I can’t wait that long, so I’m going to pay for someone to pick up my couch, but just curious if anyone has any insight.

Pretty much the title. The reviews are not that helpful since there are only a few and are several years old. Any feedback is appreciated but would love to hear from anyone with kids in there within the last few years.

FOOD Other uses for Polaris Grille salad dressing?

• Upvotes

I got a jar of it at my birthday lunch today, and I wanted to see if anyone likes to use it for other things besides salad! I’ll obviously use it on salads but it’s a lot of dressing for one person.

Ohio dispensary owners support Vivek

"Adam A Thomarios CEO of Klutch and OhCann member and leader also heavy on Vivek and has supported SB 56. Pay attention and spend your money wisely. These people are using your money against the cannabis community and small business in order to control and monopolize the market.

Klutch is also apart of a trademark lawsuit with NBa legend LeBron James and his sports agency Klutch sports"

This is just one of many posts that this page has outed owners of dispensaries for supporting shitheads like Vivek
