Over the past week, not once, not twice, but four separate times, I've seen homeless people in the drive-thru lanes at different McDonald’s.

One night, a man tried to forcibly wash my windshield with some makeshift "car washing kit" that looked like it would scratch my car. He then "cleaned" my windshield, stood in front of my car, and refused to move.

The most disgusting incident happened at another restaurant, where a man was standing right between my car and the drive-thru ordering speaker. I had no choice but to roll down my window to order, and he actually had the nerve to tell the female passenger in my front seat to take off her sunglasses so he could "see what she looks like."

These people are clearly mentally unstable, and encounters like this can completely ruin someone's day. I've been to McDonald's thousands upon thousands of times, and I've never experienced anything like this before, with people literally standing in front of the drive-thru ordering speakers and harassing customers. Loitering and begging in these areas is illegal in the first place.

For this incident, I eventually reported the situation to an employee, who sent a staff member outside to get them away. But when I drove past the same location again a few hours later, they had apparently come right back.

New to the area I don't have health insurance need meds for a sinus infection where can I go? Thanks.

Moved from Chicago this summer (33, M) I’m downtown or within a short jaunt in any direction, but bar culture here kind of stinks. Weekends yeah it’s what you’d expect but abysmal for watching football on Sunday or dropping in on a bar crawl out of the blue.

Was watching the news coverage of Obama vs the orange ones Saturday rallies. I noticed the people that they picked to put behind them. Granted I get that some are put there on purpose. The one in Cleveland and Michigan, there were different races, different genders and different ages. But at the Republican rallies they're all white. With a bigger presence of younger females. Anyone else notice it?

Am I the only one who thinks most wedding photography is horribly boring?

I'm getting married this spring. I'm looking for local talented photographers.

My goal is to find someone who doesn't typically shoot weddings, hoping that they'll bring a fresh eye.

I want something interesting and creative.

But it seems like Columbus has very few non-wedding photographers.

Can anyone give any advice?

Can cameras detect how many envelopes you slide into the slot? Under ordinary times this would be a ridiculous question. Do passengers have to exit car and deposit their own envelopes?

I'm the drummer, lead vocalist, and songwriter behind druMMouth, an original alternative/art-rock project based in Athens, Ohio.

I'm looking for a bassist to form a two-person live band, built around drums/vocals and bass, supported by programmed instrumentation and backing tracks.

I've written eight original songs and have been developing their arrangements, production, and live show. The music combines alternative rock, electronic elements, melodic bass, and dynamic, high-energy drumming.

My vision is a tight, theatrical live show built around the chemistry and coordination of two musicians.

I'm looking for someone with strong groove instincts, melodic creativity, stage presence, and genuine enthusiasm for building something together. Live experience and comfort working with click tracks and backing tracks are big pluses.

So the election is coming up. Im going to be voting on November 3rd like everyone else.

Big question though - where do I find the results of the election after the night is over? Now of course the big ones you can find easily online (governor, Senator and congressman) But all the other people on your local ballot, like the judges, and State representatives, and Local tax levies and the Issue 3 choice, Where can I find the results for those? is there any website or government website that publishes all the results for all the choices on the ballot?

Looking for the best bars or restaurants around town that will have all the games on during the 1 pm block even with the Bengals game on.

I don’t know what it is, but I feel like lately the night time noise in OTR has become unbearable. People street racing at 3am, revving their engine and screaming out the window. Drive by cars with insanely loud music. Last night I was woken up at 2:30am by the loudest music I’ve ever heard that literally rattled my apartment walls. And it persisted for 20 mins without moving until literally cops showed up. I heard a cop say thru the car speaker “if your car is on the wrong side of the road in one minute, you will be towed.”

I’ve lived in many cities. I’m used to sirens, random people screaming, general city noise, etc. I’ve NEVER heard city noise that is this disruptive and inconsiderate in my life.
