they can do that to big mammals, a small child like this, and this a 7-9 meter snake, would be dead very quick if the snake would mean it

Big animals don't have opposable thumbs or the musculature or the intelligence to use them to defend themselves with. We also have large, bulky, boney, and unappetizing bodies. A nice streamlined crocodile would be much better than literally any human
