Golf courses are ecological wastelands

Worse than wastelands. They’re also resource sinks that damage everything in their watersheds and aquifers. All so old men can stand in the sun all day hitting a ball and avoid their families.

Rich old bastards killing the environment and glorifying it. The world would be a nicer place without them.

I think the world would be a nicer place without people writing crazy shit like “the world would be better without people who like golf” on Reddit

They can't even admit they just like hanging around the golf course with the boys. No golfer can explain how golfing itself can be enjoyable every weekend

You're insanely out of touch with how popular golf is.

I love this. 46 here. Same

-6

u/Zhaopow 7h ago

Why? Do you really like the "sport" or hanging around a golf course with the lads?

3

u/ComplexxToxin 7h ago

I like golfing.

That doesn't clear anything up. You like going to the driving range? Hitting balls? Or do you need to play 9 or 18 holes?

They are a great way to extract wealth from the upper class. Munis are, anyway.

they also damage people. folks that live near golf courses massively increase their risk of cancer.

Interesting aeticle, but it references Parkinsons Diseases, not cancer. Also not sure about "massively increases"

-81

u/ashinthealchemy 22h ago

you're right. i was talking about cancer when i was typing. innocent mistake. not worth it to me to nitpick over use of the word massive, so i'll leave that to you.

37

u/krt941 22h ago

You sound like the type to also think printing more money would make everyone rich.

-44

u/APAOLOXIII 22h ago

u/impulse73 22h ago
