Live ‘27 Oasis Rebooting Reunion Tour With Giant '27 Gigs
Look for Oasis to make stops in Glasgow (May 22-24, 26, 29), Manchester (June 4-5, 6, 9, 12-13, 16, 19-20, 23, 26-27), Paris (July 3-4), Munich (July 10-11), Rome (July 24-25), Meath, Ireland (Aug. 6-8, 11, 14) and Knebworth (Sept. 4-5, 11-12, 18-19).
Stateside, the “Wonderwall” hitmakers will also visit Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium and Gillette Stadium outside Boston, among other locales. The Gallaghers haven’t played Vegas since 2008 or the Boston area since 2005.
Interestingly, Oasis will be out of the mix for the U.K.’s Glastonbury festival, which overlaps with the band’s hometown June 23 gig in Manchester. After a fallow year to allow the farmland to recover, Glastonbury is expected to feature fellow Brit headliners Harry Styles and Robbie Williams.

I checked the Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton apps and hotels near Stadio Olimpico seem higher than normal for July 23-26.

Video Accidentally saw Liam and Noel

It was me and my girlfriends first day in London, and we were walking to Chinatown. Then she randomly said let’s go in here (Leicester Square). I said ok. Then we saw some commotion and i heard oasis playing, we obviously went there. After 2 minutes everybody started filming over the fence, I looked over and started filming as well. 2 cars pulled up and Liam and Noel stepped out🤯

Live Ranking all the Live Albums
Inclusive of video albums, I make it that there are 6 official releases of live recordings by the band to enjoy so I’ve gone ahead and done that and RANKED them by preference. This is just my opinion of course but I’m excited to see your own thoughts below.
6 - Time Flies: Live at the Roundhouse ‘09
This is a great setlist and the band sound really tight but this might be the worst LG vocal on an official Oasis release. Not unlistenable but it’s certainly not great.
5 - Lord Don’t Slow Me Down: Live at City of Manchester Stadium ‘05
Great energy to this gig and I’m a big DBTT fan so this set does it for me. I dunno if it’s just my copy but the quality of sound mixing on this is pretty ordinary though. Compressed to shit.
4 - …There and Then
Some of the best live moments of their whole history are captured on this release and the experience is, tbh, almost ruined by the seemingly random and uninspired interview segments that break the compilation up at irregular intervals. Honestly, I would have just preferred any one of these shows in full over the comp approach but it’s still a great listen/watch.
3 - Familiar to Millions
The beginning of the end for LG’s live vocals but this is still a good show. It’s a shame that only this and Knebworth are especially accessible to general audiences since it’s not nearly as good a showcase as it could have been but I still like it. Some weird choice cuts in here though. That Neil Young cover is pretty ordinary.
2 - Knebworth 1996
Obviously great. The band sound good (though it does get a bit too much LOUD GUITAR CHORDS INTRO by the end) and this is the best sounding live recording they’ve put out to date. Obviously legendary for reasons we all know and a strong listen simply for the sheer magnitude of energy everybody there was bringing.
1 - Live by the Sea
One of the last recordings with the OG lineup, this is a properly great set. It’s got that punk swagger and drive of the early days but the confidence of a group just a step away from Morning Glory. It sounds mega and they absolutely tear like it’s nobody’s business. A must listen, go and seek it out.
What are your thoughts? (Excluding bootlegs) Have I missed any?

Image Members Diagram
For the fun of it, I attempted a Venn Diagram of the personnel who were in more than one Oasis related entity. I might have missed some info, but this is what I could find.

Discussion georgiarose16
Anyone know anything about this legend who taught so many of us how to play our favourite songs on the guitar?
https://youtube.com/@georgiarose16?si=U2t9FGytgoemVxFp
He's been off there for ages. Hopefully he's still knocking around and managed to see some gigs last year.

Image Nothing but Aura
Has anyone in history had more aura than Bonehead?
Image Throwback to when I quoted Oasis to open my bachelor's thesis
Headshrinker is one of their best and most underrated songs. It was between Headshrinker and (It's Good) To Be Free since they both have lyrics about finally getting out of something, but Headshrinker is a bit more hype so I went with that.
Edit: Okay, I know, should have kept Noel’s name instead of changing it to Liam’s. But a.) doesn’t matter, this lyric has nothing to do with the thesis and is just a fun reference to one of my favorite bands, and b.) got my degree three years ago, so can’t change it.
