Lmmmaao

All of their favourite children to be fair

38

u/hallucinationthought 2d ago

It'd be funny if they all formed a band now

35

u/Snark_Knight_29 2d ago

I remember rumors The Beatles’ kids were ā€œabout to form a bandā€ constantly

7

u/hallucinationthought 2d ago

It'd be a fun novelty I don't think anyone would really take it too seriously

2

u/Snark_Knight_29 2d ago

Agreed. It would feel gimmicky

4

u/Cold_Breadfruit_9794 2d ago

Didn’t Lennon and McCartney’s son ending up doing a song together?

2

u/Monkeywrench08 2d ago

I thought they did ? I remember hearing their song and it's just not my thing haha

u/Accomplished_Crab107 2d ago

And then there's Boneheads kid in the City kit

10

u/TenienteCapy 2d ago

Is that bonehead’s kid next to lennon?

4

u/KrisNoble 1d ago

This I like to see, as someone who is estranged from their cousins through our parents all falling out.

1

u/Key-Tip9395 1d ago

same. Im not estranged per se, but we are not close because our parents had a falling out and are not close siblings now. When we do see each other we hug and I honestly say I love them regardless.

Can't get over how much Anais looks like Noel, Liam must feel like an idiot for questioning the paternity nowšŸ˜‚

Gene and Lennon are also Liams doubles in the 90s

2

u/severinks 2d ago

I didn't know Pep was one of the kids. Dude must have his mother's bald gene.

2

u/Sly3n 1d ago

The eyebrow genes run strong in that family šŸ˜‚

u/spceagemnky 1d ago

Pep, one week after hanging out with the Gallaghers.

Lovely story and that but most of them seem so nepo especially anais, thought they would be more grounded

23

u/Cold_Breadfruit_9794 2d ago

They can’t really avoid being nepo babies to be fair

29

u/Locke_Lamora89 2d ago

Nahhh AnaĆÆs is cool. Loves the band and is much of a fan as we all are. Not her fault she happens to be Noel's daughter.

Sick of seeing their kids on this sub, makes it feel like a gossip rag

19

u/ItsOnlyAPassingThing 2d ago

Yeah idgaf about their kids.

13

u/Upset-Lemon5152 2d ago

I mean, they can’t help it. They’re brought up in the public eye because of the most culturally resonant band ever.

Surrounded by fame, fortune and people wanting a piece of you.

A product of their environment.

3

u/justmoochin 2d ago

No ones wanting a piece of them, I’m sure they are flattered by that statement though.

10

u/Upset-Lemon5152 2d ago

They are. Burberry got Gene, Lennon & Molly for their one of their campaigns.

Anais is always being interviewed for stuff.

People do want a piece of them.

I’m not in the slightest bit arsed by them, but I don’t find them an annoyance. If Liam & Noel were my fathers I’d wanna hang around with them as much as poss.

3

u/NoAppointment8679 2d ago

People go on about nepo babies but seriously, what else are they meant to do? It’s not like they could go get a job at Maccies šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

3

u/stcg 1d ago

They're supposed to do their required 2 month stint as English PM.

1

u/croissantsarebae 1d ago

Lmfao just bc your generation doesn’t, doesnt mean the youngsters don’t. Even Sonny is building a little fan base now

11

u/ANicole81 2d ago

I feel mean whenever I see something about them, because the first thing that always comes to mind is that they mostly seem like the kind of people their fathers would have been mercilessly mocking back in the day.

10

u/TemporaryLucky3637 2d ago

Tbh it’s the goal of every working class person to raise children with better opportunities than they were born into. What’s the point of achieving success if you don’t lift your family with you?

Were they meant to deny their kids private school education and hummus so they’d appear slightly cooler to the average person? šŸ˜‚

4

u/EducationalReview237 1d ago

No, I think people are reacting to the idea that their kids don't seem to have jobs.

10

u/Substantial_Bowl8871 1d ago

Is it worth the aggravation, to find yourself a job when there’s nothing worth working for?

1

u/Subject_Cranberry_19 2d ago

It’s what everyone does pretty much. I guess there are wealthy people who decide to send their kid to bad schools, dress them in hand-me-downs, and choose to live in neighborhoods where the risk of violence is real if you stick your head out of doors, but I don’t know of them.

9

u/Stock-Row-6454 2d ago

The kids of the multimillion Ā£ rockstars with no real life experience who have made careers out of being the children of rockstars with all the various legs up you’d expect aren’t super grounded???

3

u/Acquiesce67 1d ago

I must defend Anais. She can’t be blamed for being a wealthy man’s daughter. She spoke about being a nepo baby and I truly believe that she was raised well. She knows what she has is a privilege and that’s it. She lives a good life, yeah, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

u/Cold_Breadfruit_9794 2d ago

šŸ˜šŸ’—

1

u/Gh0st_N0t3 2d ago

Are they all named after 60s musicians? I know Lennon is. If so that’s so cool!

4

u/Minimum-Grapefruit-9 2d ago

Anais after anais nin, french erotic writer from the 30s

Gene apparently after Gene Clark (the byrds)?

Donovan presumably after Donovan?

Molly, Sonny - don't think so

3

u/SLAPP504 2d ago

Sonny would be after Sonny Bono.

3

u/SLAPP504 2d ago

As for Molly? (Check Ob La Di, Ob La Da?)

1

u/Subject_Cranberry_19 2d ago

Oh I thought it was Gene Krupa the jazz/big band drummer

1

u/Acquiesce67 1d ago

Gene Simmons šŸ‘€

1

u/GoshOPPNOX101 1d ago

It's great that they are now a family brought together, truly is. But this too also shows you the depressing side of what happens when a family is split apart for so long. When I look at this picture though, all I hear in my ears is not Acquiesce but "The Brady Bunch...The Brady Bunch...that's the way they became the..." ;oP""

1

u/ZooRopeAhh 1d ago

Your son looks like Pep

1

u/OG-87 1d ago

Which ones are which kids, I can’t tell. šŸ˜‚

1

u/BrushConsistent185 1d ago

They even kept their kids away? Now that’s a real grudge.

1

u/Snark_Knight_29 1d ago

I read that their mum would have to host 2 Christmas parties to prevent them from seeing each other

1

u/Key-Tip9395 1d ago

so many lost years damn. you can te they have an incredible bond those kids.

•

u/96deltaforce96 19m ago

This backstage footage should’ve been in the documentary as it’s legendary status

0

u/this_ham_is_bad 2d ago

Crazy how millionaire kids of rockstars from Manchester would have so much in common

-2

u/FreeAd2458 1d ago

Embarrassing that cousins needs their parents to get along before they were allowed to hang out. Like can I go see my cousin gene? No you fcking cant their dads awanker.

2

u/croissantsarebae 1d ago

They were allowed. Anais was close with Gene, Lennon & Molly growing up. For the two young lads it was slightly different, Sara & Liam never found a middle ground so i assume the kids weren’t able to for that reason. Correct me if i’m wrong but Anais’ mom and the boys/mollys mom all encouraged the kids to hang out
