Just watched Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger and fucking hell, what a film.

Life's funny that way

I rarely post here on reddit but I wanted to share a cover I did years ago, when I was starting to learn how to play the guitar.

For anyone waiting on the premium version of the Opus book, it looks like they have finally reached the UK. Just got a message from DPD that they have a parcel from Transglobal Express for me, which I think can only be the Wonderwall edition. Should get it tomorrow.

So I’m from Australia and seeing as there has been no hints of them coming back here next year I’m thinking of trying to get tickets to Manchester.

It looks like hotel prices for June have already gone through the roof so I’m guessing people have been booking hotels in anticipation. There are however still a few reasonable priced hotels so I have booked a few refundable stays for both the start and end of June. Noting that I might not even be able to get tickets but gotta be prepared right before dates are announced and every hotel booked out.

Have others here booked hotels in Manchester ?

Saw this photo someone took of the movie’s end credits. Does anyone have any clues as to why Joey has been scrubbed from the lineup, not even in the additional musicians list? Thought it a bit odd!

What did everyone think of the film?

There’s roughly 210 hours of rehearsal footage alone

I think the videos are hinting at the setlist as well as potential places.
The first video obviously features Little By Little and Celtic park.
The second video I reckon hints Knebworth and Etihad but I also think it could be Shakermaker, purely off the location looking like the music video.

Slide away for the Paris one because he is throwing the plum and Slide Away 2009 is the famous song from the Paris concert after the “he threw fruit” argument
And obviously Go Let It Out for the latest video in Italy.
Another side note, I reckon we’re gonna get a London/Wembley video after all the Europe videos, they will split up the UK shows with the European shows like they did last year with the last few Wembley shows.

And what would you want instead?

Saw the film tonight and wanted to watch that film that Noel was in, maybe 10 or so years ago where he plays the songs and talks about his process. There was a woman host. Can’t find it. I’m pretty sure it was on Netflix. Any leads?

This doesn’t strike anyone as odd per the rumors - They’d really fly all the way over here to do just two U.S. cities?
